Gene Bone, age 84 of Dallas, GA passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Dallas, GA and retired from Lockheed –Martin. Mr. Bone enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking and sightseeing the United States. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Those preceding him in death were his father and mother, Henry Lee and Louetta Lawrence Bone, siblings; Evelyn, Jessie, Vera, Baby Girl, Sammy, Doyal, Buddy, Roy, Harold, Cecil, Ed and Baby Boy.

 

Survivors include three sons and daughter-in-laws; Danny and Lori Bone, Vance and Chris Bone and Eddie Bone all of Dallas, GA; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura Ann and Larry Capes of Hiram, GA; grandchildren, April Brumbelow, Lindsey Pomerantz, Jesse Bone, Michael Capps, Anna Bone , Jarah Bone and one great-grandchild, Jett Brumbelow.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Bone will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Bone officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, September 19, 2016 between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 p.m.
