Pat Rakestraw Ragsdale February 25, 1953- July 10, 2015

Pat Rakestraw Ragsdale, age 62, of Dallas, GA passed away at her residence on Friday, July 10, 2015. She attended New Hope Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; Noel Hubert and Inez Rakestraw.

 

Pat was a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Registered Nurse degree and received the Ida Brielle Scholarship finishing as top student in her class. For several years she was employed as an ICU R.N. at Kennestone Hospital and retired from the Paulding County Health Department after many years of service. An avid golfer, who also enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, sewing and baking cakes, will be sorely missed by her friends and family.

 

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law; Bryan and Kristie Ragsdale of Dallas, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Brie and Patrick Butler of Dallas, GA and brother and sister-in-law, Eric Noel and Debra Rakestraw of Dallas, GA.

 

Services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Frank Crowe and Debbie Sexton officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 12, 2015 between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
