Clark Funeral Home Posted May 28, 2015 Report Share Posted May 28, 2015 Hudson Odell Rakestraw, age 89 of Bremen, GA (formerly of Dallas, GA) passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015. He was born on May 9, 1926, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Emmett H. & Agness Willingham Rakestraw. Mr Rakestraw was a World War II United States Army Veteran and worked for Mercer Marine Transport for 18 years. Mr. Rakestraw is survived by his son; Larry H. Rakestraw of Rockmart, GA; grandsons; Chris Rakestraw of Dallas, GA and Jeff Rakestraw of Port St. Joe, FL Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 1 PM, from Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
