Wayne Newsome, age 72, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015. He was born on October 7, 1942, in Atlanta, GA, to the late George Newsome and Ruth Morgan, and was preceded in death by his daughter, Britni Newsome Cooper and brother, Marion Newsome. Mr. Newsome was a plumber his entire life and owner of Powder Springs Plumbing. He was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include wife, Sandra Wyatt Newsome of Dallas, GA; children, Tammy Lytle & Anthony Whitfield of Villa Rica, GA, Missy & Tim Kuykendall of Woodstock, GA, Brandon & Barbara Newsome of Hiram, GA, Ronald Wayne Newsome & Angela Ackley of Powder Springs, Eddie & Angie Wyatt of Villa Rica, GA, and Pamela D. Robertson of Dallas, GA; brother Russell & Linda Newsome of Powder Springs, GA; sister, Ann & Mike Record of Ringgold, GA; thirteen grandchildren , twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Brother Eddie Wyatt and Brother Charles Dyer officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. Levi Wyatt, Jimmy Seagle, Tyler Newsome, Jake Sanders, Brent Floyd, and Mark Bellino will serve as pallbearers. Todd Thompson and Chase Voyles will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 4 PM until 8 PM
