Corbett Watson Rogers, age 91, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014. He was born in Dallas, GA, February 24, 1923, and was preceded in death by his parents, Chester & Pearl Dupree Rogers; his first wife, Nelda Bowman Rogers; and his brothers, Harold Rogers and Howard Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II. He worked as an Atlanta Police Officer for 16 years and then for I.B.E.W. Local 72 as a Field Superintendent. Mr. Rogers was a member of Pumpkinvine Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva Rogers and his sister, Aileen Wills of Dalton, GA.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Mr. Larry Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery, with Ray Cole, Wayne Cole, Harry Hudson, Charles Reed, Ronnie Jones and Jimmy Lewis serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, from 9:30 AM until the service time.
