Mr. J. B. Hembree age 74 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on August 16, 2009. Mr. Hembree was born on March 25, 1935 in Cobb County Georgia to the late Jasper "Jack" Hembree and Bonnie Lou Weaver Hembree. Mr. Hembree was employed as a manager at a concrete plant. He was an Army veteran having served his country for 2 years and was in the Air Force Reserves for 4 years. He was a member of the West Metro Church of God.

 

Funeral service for Mr. J. B. Hembree will be conducted on Thursday August 20, 2009 at 2 pm from the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Rountree and Reverend Jim Hollis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday August 19, 2009 from 2 PM until 9 PM and on Thursday from 9 AM until the service begins at 2PM. A private interment will follow on Wednesday August 26, 2009 at 4 PM at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Pastor Glenn Rountree officiating.

 

Mr. J. B. Hembree is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Beverly Hembree of Dallas, Ga.; daughter and son in law, Leslie & Michael Sandusky of Dallas, Ga.; 3 grandchildren, Kristen Settlemire of Dallas, Ga., Caleb Sandusky of Dallas, Ga., Kimberly Sandusky of Dallas, Ga.; and many other beloved family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie & Jack Hembree and his infant sister, Charlotte.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday August 19, 2009 from 2 PM until 9 PM and on Thursday from 9 AM until the service begins at 2PM.
