BULLETIN: MISSING PERSON FOUND

Laneeka Vernado, who has been missing since November 25, was found dead in her vehicle off US 278 in Austell.

The Georgia State Patrol STEP unit is investigating at the scene of the discovery in an effort to clarify the circumstances of the death but early indications are that the death was due to an automobile accident.

Assault and robbery in progress - SO seeks two men


Paulding County deputies are seeking two suspects identified over radio traffic as Ricky Kado and Alex Robinson for questioning in an apparent robbery of a woman on Hart Road off GA 61 south of Dallas.

The two are believed to be in an older model green Ford Explorer. Deputies report stopping at least one vehicle that fit that description but it was determined not to be the vehicle.

Initial reports suggest that at least one of the alleged perpetrators had choked the woman in an effort to force her to relinquish money and property.

Officers are currently on the look out for the duo.
