Michael "Mike" Chaille, age 70, of Hiram, GA, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014. The son of the late, Floyd Warren Chaille & the late, Mildred Hunt Chaille, he was born in Miami, FL, on October 21, 1943. He was the pastor of The Gathering House and was also co-founder, with his wife, of Firestarter Ministries International. He was very active in the Paulding County Ministerial Association and was ordained by Network Ekklesia International, led by Dutch Sheets. Mike had a heart for God and always walked closely to Him. He was led by the Holy Spirit in all that he did and was always obedient to Gods voice. He taught the Truth with Gods authority and because of his love and walk with God others were eager to learn and follow. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Becky Talbert Chaille; son & daughter-in-law, Marshall & Bridget Chaille of Macon, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Meredith & Robert Craft of Port Charlotte, FL; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at 1:30 PM, from The Gathering House, 578 Brownsville Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127 (Paulding County), with Reverend Mark Nysewander officiating. Robert Carlton "Hoagie" Hogue, age 70, of Lithia Springs, GA, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014. The son of the late, Lyman Grant Hogue & the late, Martha Lois Griswell Hogue, he was born in Atlanta, GA, on December 27, 1943. Mr. Hogue was preceded in death by his five brothers and sisters. Following a longtime career as Vice President of Operations at Island Bank in Anna Maria Island, Florida, where he served the community as Chamber of Commerce President and Rotary Club Secretary, he returned home to Georgia retiring from First Union Bank. Mr. Hogue was a longtime member and deacon of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hiram, GA. Survivors include his brother, Lee Hogue of Sugar Hill, GA; sisters, Mrs. Melba Bagwell of Hiram, GA, Mrs. Betty Champion of Fairmount, GA, Mrs. Norma Head & husband, Gene of Hiram, GA, and Mrs. Ann Richardson of Alabama; brother-in-law, Bryant Seabrook of Douglasville, GA; thirteen nieces; fourteen nephews; multiple great & great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 14, 2014, at 11:00 AM, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with Pastor Rodney Carson officiating. Mr. Hogue will lie-in-state at the church from 10:00 AM until the service time. Interment will be held in Riverview Memorial Park following the service, with Billy Seabrook, Grant Seabrook, Charles Seabrook, Kurt Head, Shane Head, Kurt Kercher and Jeff Champion serving as pallbearers. Fay Cole, age 70, of Lindale, GA, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014. She was born in Dallas, GA, December 3, 1943, to the late, Whitic Baxter and the late, Gaynell Dupree. Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Lee Cole. She was a member of Corner Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA. Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law, Laura Crofts & husband, Walter of Bowdon, GA, Debra Johnson & husband, Aaron of Lindale, GA and Diana Barnette of Saluda, NC; sisters, Helen Suddeth of Millport, AL and Marjean Garrett of Dallas, GA; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Dr. Curtis Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens, with Skipper Cole, Buck Cole, Andrew Findley, Davey Findley, Kevin Cochran and Danny Clark serving as pallbearers. Nancy Donna DeLancy, age 71, of Hiram, GA, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014. She was born in Hartford, CT, on January 13, 1943, to the late, William C. & Alice Elizabeth Hardy. Mrs. DeLancy worked for Dr. Bradford Smith in Augusta, ME, for many years as an optical technician and was currently working for Sam’s Club in Hiram, GA, in the optical department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville, GA. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert F. DeLancy; children, Donna M. Bridges & Todd Owens of Dallas, GA, Darlene E. Moore & Jonathan Polky of Wayne, ME, Doreen L. DeLancy of Winthrop, ME, and Robert F. & Mel DeLancy, Jr. of Aberdeen, NC; sisters & brother-in-law, Mary Jacobs of Winchester, NH and Jean & Rich Lohr of Milford, CT; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home.
