Well sometimes $300,000/yr isn't enough. Santa Clara County child support services head placed on paid leave. Since 2008 he racked up over 55,000 dollars on his credit cards for himself and other employees to earn bonuses for himself. Frequent flyer miles etc. all given to him by fraud.
