  1. My unit has an interlock switch on the lower cover where the blower is. If the cover isn't in place, no burner, no fan. Check that.
  2. Nobody touches my HVAC equipment but Craig Rainwater. Period. End of story. prompt, thorough, reasonable, and it stays fixed.
  3. There you have it, folks... Global warming is OVER!!!!
  4. The troll feeds itself with copious quantities of Drambuie.
  5. But, this is all part of the grand plan. All the liberal, anti-war, anti-establishment, anti-cop posts serve to make P.com look like a DNC mouthpiece. At least in the mind of Dear Leader. Didn't you recognize that a certain ego got all puffed up a couple of days ago over some interweb "analysis" that (laughably) declared this message board (almost) "Democratic"? Lies. Damn lies. Statistics.
  6. I wonder if the "survey sez" is somehow swayed by bombastic verbosity? Thousand word essays at a time?
  7. I don't suppose the 43,000 posts by your favorite troll, poster had anything to do with swaying the results, did it?
  8. Two-thirds? There must be some correlation going on. That's about the same proportion of illiteracy in the Obama voting block.
  9. The zero common sense aspect of being a far leftist is much more wide spread than just teachers and professors.
  10. However many of them it takes to make the survivors play nice with the rest of the world.
  11. Apparently you forget 9/11/01 and the carnage that AlQueda inflicted on NYC. They had no resources to create a war plane or a missile. And 3000 Americans died that day. May I suggest you get your head out of the 1950's in Arkansas and wake the hell up?
  12. Shades of 1939 and British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, eh?
  13. Actually, the photo lab versions which I have taken numerous times are wooden "thimbles" that you line up onto receptacles. I've never seen a "paper" version. I agree that the digital versions are a bit more difficult because of the variations of the various screens. I was being interviewed for the quality control manager at a major photo processing color lab. I had never seen this test before, and scored "0", or perfect, during the hiring process. This was a multi-million $$$ operation, and they had never had an employee score less than 16 before I got there. And they give you on
  14. I did the same test from "X-Rite"'s website. My score was 4, meaning I had two tiles out of place, they were side by side.
  15. There is a visual color acuity test called "Farnsworth" which will tell you your actual color perception. Back in the days before digital photography, passing this test was a prerequisite to employment with any professional photo lab. You can take the test online. I just did it a few minutes ago. The lower the number, the better your acuity is. Zero is perfect and 99 is "you are blind". My score, even with a crappy PC monitor, was in the low single digits.
  16. Written by two different men at two different times and translated from their original language and dialect by different people at different times. Contradiction would be having one describe Jesus as being in a robe with a crown of thorns and the other describe him as being in cut-off shorts, a baseball cap, and flip-flops.
  17. The media never bothered to report that TWO Ferguson, MO police officers were shot over the weekend. One while chasing a suspect on foot. He was shot in the left arm. Suspect escaped. One was off-duty and was hit by glass shards when shot at in a drive-by shooting on I-70 in Ferguson. Note to TP: The city is spelled Ferguson, not Furgeson. But accuracy never was one of your objectives, anyhow,
  18. Well, "yes" and "no" are contradictions, too. You use both, every day. Which is it? Yes or No?? Oh, it depends on the context, right? And so does the meaning from two OLD testament passages written by two different people about two different topics possibly hundred of years apart. If you can show me any contradictions in the NEW testament, I'm all ears.
  19. Uhhhh....that was Maty Mauk, the MIZZOU QB.
  20. Well, just damn!!! Pubby's liberal "reasoning" has replaced Darwin. We're gonna let them fight amongst themselves and the peaceful ones will kill off the Jihadists in this fairy tale. The survival of the fittest has been replaced by more feel-good hopeful strategy directly from the liberal "think tank". Or septic tank.
  21. Why does everybody say "take" a pee or crap? You are actually (one would hope) "leaving" it.
  22. I don't remember ever watching a single episode of Gilligan. Pretty sure I didn't miss much.
  23. Open up MS Word to a new document in a window. Go to the bombastic post you want the word count on, copy and paste it into the new Word document, and then one of the functions in Word is a word count.
  24. Or the inaction of others. Britain was basically a pacifist nation during the 1930's, electing Stanley Baldwin and Neville Chamberlain as the prime ministers. Had either one of those panty-waists stood tall in the face of evil and aggression when it began to gather strength in 1939 when Hitler invaded Poland, they could have changed the face of history. And of course, the poster boy for socialism, FDR sat on his ample butt and did nothing. The Japanese emperor was emboldened by the aggression of Hitler and Mussolini, and nobody did anything to stop him, either. And it all ended
  25. Just read a release from the Ward family saying that they were going to keep after the matter. There will be some ambulance chasing a-hole who will conjure up some scenario and perpetuate this story for years. If the driver of the car had been anybody but Tony Stewart, this wouldn't have gotten 30 seconds of air time even in upstate NY.
