I haven't listened to Limbaugh, Hannity, Glenn Beck, or O'Reilly in years. I'm actually capable of having a cogent, reasoned, logical thought process and have a conclusion about an issue without having somebody tell me what to think. Unlike most of the lefties here on P.com who swallow every lie they can read from the DailyKos and the Huffandpuff Post. I can't remember the last time one of them actually posted an original thought; but, that's not surprising since their entire lives have been controlled by union bosses who told them what to "think". Little DNC puppets that they are.

I'm sure all this can be traced back to something George Bush did (or didn't do). Seriously, if I were you, Pubs, I'd put a stop to people imbedding U-tube or other video links in their posts. It is so easy to hide malware in a video. Not necessarily to hack a site as much as to infect individual computers. I will never watch a video that someone has posted. I'm not suggesting that anyone here would do that intentionally, but just doing a copy and paste of some (supposedly) germane video into a thread is a risk.

Lost Mountain Baptist Church is having a Trick or Treat Street event this coming Sunday night, 10/26 from 5:00 to 7:00, at 5400 Old Dallas Rd, (off 120 between E. Paulding Dr. and Mars Hill Rd.) A safe environment for kids and families to trick or treat. Free food, games, inflatables, and a lot more. Over 800 children were there last year, the Church is hoping for 1,000 this year.

There's a house on the corner of E.Paulding and ???? that is for rent. It's the one that a tree fell in during a storm. No steps, no idea of the size, etc. Oh, they fixed the house up.

Arkansas hasn't won an SEC game in the last 3 years. Just sayin'.

We rarely need a land line, and probably should do away with it entirely. But the alarm system uses the land line, and converting that system to wireless is just outrageous priced. We do occasionally need to make overseas calls. So, Magic Jack, Vonage, Ooma, and others are out there as a possibility. So, do any of you have one of these services? Which one? Strengths and weaknesses? Appreciate any input you can give.

Please explain how all the optimism in the world could have avoided the situation that currently exists. I think we can see that it didn't. I know there is a lot of pain, both emotional, physical, and financial going on. But, getting all hopeful about a new beginning without a viable game plan is sure to lead to more pain. I wish them the very best. Bur reality is reality.

Now I'm wondering...if they didn't have enough money to avoid foreclosure, just where is the down payment and escrow and closing costs and monthly payments on another house going to come from? Not to mention getting approved for a new mortgage with a foreclosure in the immediate past. I hope they can pull it off, but, personally, I'm not optimistic,
