  1. And all along I was worried about teenagers texting while driving. Now we have somebody on the streets trying to read the output of a electronic gizmo plugged in underneath the dash down by his left knee while he is trying to steer.
  2. I put you in the "fool them all of the time" category, given that you are mainstreaming HuffandPuff and the Dem Underground for your "intel".
  3. The Japs have seemed to play nice with the rest of the world after Nagasaki and Hiroshima got their attention.
  4. Yeah, the Dems have been SO good at fixing our economy and creating jobs. On second thought, maybe it would be a good idea after all. We could win the war by bankrupting them.
  5. The first week of September, 1945 showed what it takes to win a war. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuked, and 2 days later the Emperor of Japan was signing a peace treaty on the deck of the battleship Missouri. Apparently the suicide bombers of ISIS think that "the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim." I agree.
  6. Why limit your comments to just this county? Citizens are gonna get screwed by the government, no matter the jurisdiction.
  7. I know it must be disappointing that you can't dredge up some far fetched racially based motive for this.
  8. Again, you blabber without facts. The University of Missouri School of Journalism confers the unique degree "Batchelor of Journalism". No other University confers a degree specifically titled that way. Unike your hero Brian Williams who has a "liberal arts" degree.
  9. Evolved? No, I was actually calling you out on your obvious "business" practice. Posting some 70-year old racially charged half-truths and condemning the Klan serves no purpose except to increase your hit count and create more contention in the ranks. You obviously have to divert the attention of the readers to something other than your support of the BOC's stupidity and your brown-nosing of the Chamber. And, just for the record, my paternal grandfather was, in addition to being a Klansman, an educator with a PhD and an ordained Baptist minister. He was also a dyed-in-the-wool Socia
  10. Both of my grandfathers were Klansmen. Neither of them ever attended a lynching. All the cards you seem to have left in your deck are the race ones.
  11. Yeah, that. Plus, he was a white guy from a very conservative area in the Deep South. Jesse and Al probably are waiting for another "gentle giant". And, there ain't much to burn and destroy in Ioka.
  12. First, let me say that I am not on either side of this issue. Other than I wanted a reservoir rather than an airport. But, when I saw this topic, the first thing that came to my mind was, "my God, how many times does this pot have to be stirred, anyway?" Could you all just give it a rest, already?
  13. Maybe they will have the good business sense to ban long-winded trolls.
  14. Utter straw-man nonsense. The Dem's alleged opposition to pay day loans is, if it exists, only to curry favor with those who actually use those establishments, the typical low-information Democrat voter. I note you conveniently ignored Jimmah Carter's administration debacle with 19% home mortgage rates and the prime rate through the roof. The REAL unfriendliness the Dems have toward business is via the EPA and Dept of Labor and the Bureau of Mines and the DOT and 100's more regulatory agencies who saddle businesses with rules and regulations that are unnecessary and just plain stupid.
  15. How ironic. A liberal bleeding-heart democrat is now supporting "business friendly".
  16. How do you know so much about Old Nasty Highway/ anyhow?
  17. Please, oh, please...promise us that you'll make it a package deal and they HAVE to take Eddie? pretty please?
  18. From what I've heard, the mayor might have enjoyed getting a pat-down. Or, maybe they waved him around because that was his third trip through the line that day?
  19. And here's your two heroes. Together. Laughing at all you "believers".
  20. His departure is a good start. Now to get rid of Bill Mahar. And it's equally obvious what YOUR source for (dis)information is.
  21. I want all of you to bookmark this thread and go back and re-read it whenever "Concerned Paulding Resident" rears her head (again) with the nonsense of building a "convention center". The outcome will be the same...your tax dollars blowing away in the wind and nothing to show for them.
