The subdivision next to the spray fields, I don't remember the name, has not sold one home in over three years! -
I heard of Elizabeth Hasselbeck, her husband is a football player, but have no idea who Erin Andrews is or what DWTS is?
-

While I applaud you for stepping up and taking responsibility! I think the owner of the truck got what he deserved as he was parked illegally. All the curb area there is a no parking zone.
-
My son was out of work for over a year. Thankfully he's working now!

Or a local newspaper that would report whats on crimes rather then what "civic orgination is holding a meeting" or "school had is having a bake sale".

I don't understand why the band can't practice in there own garage: "quitely so the neighbors can't hear". That would be common courtesy, something that there is way to little of in this "me me me" society.

I still refuse to fill my census questionair out until April 1, because of the first question.

Not seeing another one just like it at every other stoplight:

My son's 1996 Grand Cherokee has 260,000 miles, the things you would expect to wear out (alternator, fuel pump) have been replaced but the engine and transmission have never been opened up. If they were so bad you would not see so many on the road. -
Actually that is what an earthquake does "releases the pressure built up when two Tectonic Plates (or Faults) get stuck to each other". The earthquake in Chile was 8.8 on the Richter Scale, 500 time bigger than the earthquake in Haiti.

I totally agree, IMO it is not the pedel that is causing the sticking throttles but Toyota's electronics. If the throttle sticks on our Road Runners we add a stronger return spring, Toyota can't do that because there is no physical connection between the throttle pedel and the engine.

The Toyota gas pedel being recalled is manfactured by an American company in Canada!

Paper and plastic grocery bags could soon cost you

The Target in Hiram and Acworth both give you .05 cents for each cloth bag used. My wife uses her PUBLIX bags at Target and still gets the .05 cents. -

The people that more than we do, took our paper bags away in favor of plastic. Now they want to take a the plastic bags. What is next? As for the land fills, if the trash was burned first and only the ashes buried the land fills could be used for ever. -
I don't see any pictures, so I can't vote?????

Schools may be prohibited from getting early August start
474218 replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Of course attendance drops off if they close down! There is no reason they can't hold the Laser Show at Stone Mountain on weekday nights will into September, its warm enough. Toursts are still coming to town in late August, maybe they would like take their kids to Six Flags but they can't because the local kids have gone back to school? It just doesn't make sense. -

The Represenative points out something that has never made sense to me: When school starts why do they shut down attractions like Six Flags and the Laser Show at Stone Mountain? They don't shut down Disneyworld when school starts. -

School should start the day after Labor Day and end the first Friday after the first Monday in June. -
We had to full the feeder twice on Friday:

I didn't hear of any wrecks involving buses so the roads must have been ok?
-
I took this picture about three hours ago, right after it started snowing. There were dozens on birds around our feeder.

I ate there twice once: the first and the last time. I was a little turned off when the napkins stuck to the gease on the counter.
