I was told that the shot doesn't start to protect you till 2 weeks after you had the shot.

Hit or miss with me. I did get one this year and it left me with a bruised arm. Hubby gets one every year....MIST he has no choice. Kids never get one. Last time I remember having the flu was 1999.

I eat whatever I want, I only eat when I am hungry and stop when I am full. Even after gaining 50lbs while pregnant, my body went back to the previous weight, it just took 6-9 months. I think americas problem is they eat out way to much and then go home and sit on the couch. I eat dinner and go for a walk...works for me.
