  1. Ok here is something for you to ponder. When I first started a contractor job for the Navy awhile back, it was my job to scan and send to the whole entire Navy Squadron....(hundreds of people) the POW. Well it was pretty shocking to me that it said it was coming from my private email, when I was logged into my GOV email and sent it out that way on the GOV computer. Now figure that one out. I wouldn't call it Secret info...More of a need to know than anything else. The only way to read GOV email on a private computer was with a CAC reader and most people didn't take one home.

  2. Do you know who owns the Military Times papers?

I'm still waiting to hear how he disrespected her myself. When someone says, "He knew what he was getting into, but he did it anyway. It's still difficult to accept the loss." is no different than saying, "Your husband was a very brave man accepting the challenges of serving his country." I wonder how many on this site has had to tell a complete stranger they have lost a loved one? I have had to do it twice in my life and each time I found it to be one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do. There are no real words you can say that brings them real comfort. My wife lost her father this past April to West Nile Virus. He suffered for six months paralyzed from the neck down and breathing on a ventilator. No matter what kind words anybody said to my wife, it still didn't bring her any comfort at all losing her father.

If Trump said that to me, I would take it as he was honoring my loved one. "He knew what he was getting into." That to me means he knew it was dangerous and still volunteered for it. Of course he was in a dangerous job, He was an Army Ranger. She should be honored the President took the time out of his schedule to phone her personally. How about showing some respect to the Commander-In- Chief? She also knew what she was getting into by marrying someone in the military. I feel bad for the children who will now grow up without a Father, they didn't sign up for that life.

  3. This thread is about Trump and his disrespect toward La David Johnson's widow.

OK, how did he disrespect her?

The ambassador was told by the state department not to go to Benghazi. The ambassador is dead because of his own bad decisions. How many congressional hearings does it take for you wingnuts to let it go ? The rest of your comment is unproven hogwash.

    This is true.

Which gov't, the US or Russia? I proceeded to the website and it seemed to be filled with propaganda. I couldn't find a map similar to the one below anywhere.

    I saw that article.

The congresswoman should have never gone to the news media with this at all. You have to ask why she did it knowing this would put the spouse and her children in the spotlight and cause the news media to invade their privacy to get her version of the story, which would have only added to their grief. The congresswoman did this to get her own damn face in front of the news cameras. She's a sorry piece of...

Not to mention, she now has a target on her back since everyone knows who she is. Her family could now be in danger.

  6. I have a cold or something and feel miserable. I've been in FL and MD in the same week and I feel better when I'm not in the area. I am blaming my funk on the smoke. I flew back into town this morning. Smoke is bad South of town driving back from the airport around Union City.

Like I said, if the officer is so scared of a man child with a five year old's mentality and an old black man care giver that he can't get close enough to figure out the situation and just assumes they're trying to kill him so he shoots first, then I feel the guy must have some very deep seated guilt to feel that vulnerable.

I mean we would be better off with robocops.

It was said on TV that he didn't know what the man was holding, he also didn't know for a fact he was special needs. We need to see the video from the get go, why was the cops called in the first place? The cop seems truly sorry for what happened.

1 You should watch the video again. There was enough time for the guy laying on his back to yell out 'I'm a caregiver, all he has is a toy truck' and plead for his patient to lay down.

2 Does that make it alright with you. it's your money is that how you want to spend it, admittedly unlike most he will live to spend it.

I did see the video, BUT I didn't see what happened to make the cops be called in the first place. The cops in Baltimore are being found innocent, BUT yet the family was paid 6 million $$$$$$$$$$$ before it even went to trial. I would be very pissed off if I was a TAX payer living there. Glad my son's taxes go to GA and not MD...Since he lives in that area.
