  1. I think that you misquoted him, Madea. It was ON the streets, not OFF. Unless you're saying that Donovan did such a crappy job defending his clients that he got 'em all sent to jail ("off the streets"). I think you meant "on", but you can clear that up. My impression was that Donovan was a defense attorney and would not want his clients "off the streets" aka "in jail".
  2. Tax increases. We're talking REPUBLICAN, right??? No Democrats involved, right? Just making sure.....
  3. Late-breaking News "Flash" Dick Exposed! No Charges To Be Filed Due To Insufficient Evidence
  4. I suggest that Mr. Donovan should employ scare tactics. Like a slogan that reads: "If you beat Dick, you'll go blind!"
  5. Not for any real length of time. After FOUR HOURS of standing tall he'd have to see a doctor!
  6. Isn't the "Don" the HEAD of a crime family? So "Don" may not be a complete description of "Dick"! "Just talkin' about SHAFT"
  7. You left off the rest of the headline - "Avoids RUNOFF!!"
  8. 10 !!! Triple-Gainer with Dismount! Brilliant!!
  9. Because "The Donald" was already taken! But Not "The Dick"! Also - Donald Duck was already taken, But not Donald Dick!
  10. Don't be embarrassed! Join the fun! Like this: I SO wish that his middle name was LES! SEE?
  11. I think that he may just have to pull out early!
  12. Wow! El Dique has been out there for awhile, hasn't he? Has he ever held a publick orfice?
  13. So you're entering? That's great! Who else???
  14. For some reason now, there's NO Banner Ad up there! Story of my life - Women always wanting secs from me!!
  15. Talent??? NC-17 - I have to have talent to be in your au natural contest??? And poise???? (I'm not sure what that is!!) How about if I just bribe the judge with a second six-pack????
  16. I'd come in last place AND I'd have to drink my entry fee before participating!
  17. You know that I'm not pretty! But that's not why I ask the pointed questions. There are so many scams out there! And the meter goes off when there are vague references made to non-specific-sounding charities and the solicitation is done through a hotmail account. I'd just encourage the OP to bridge the credibility gap by bringing more information, professionally presented, to her solicitations of interest in the pageants. As I've stated on other occasions, people want to know for sure that the money that goes to a charity is put to good use -- by the charities!
  18. If the event is not held in Hiram and not limited to Hiram residents, then what does it mean to be "Teen Miss Hiram"? There's not a "Shriner's Hospital for Burned and Crippled Children" in Hiram, is there? I guess, what I'm saying is "why attach a geograhical location to the name, if neither the contests nor the contestants are associated with that location?" There's some hinkiness in that, too!
  19. How does the money get to the "Shriner's Hospital for burned and crippled children"? How much money goes there? That's what I meant by, "on the level". It's being promoted as a charity event, but there's no other information, a website for reference -- just a hotmail email address to get information from. The hinky-meter just goes way up into the red when the charity is not the focal point and there's not a transparent accounting of the way that funds are spent. It seems to me to be a FOR-PROFIT event that advertises itself as a charity event. Where did I miss the mark?
  20. The event is in Dallas, you don't have to be a resident of Paulding County and it's called the "Miss Hiram Pageant"??? What makes it a "natural beauty" pageant - no makeup? It's not "au natural", is it??? What does it mean by this: "In support of the Shrine Hospitals"? Does it mean that this is a charity event? Does it mean that SOME of the proceeds go toward SOME unnamed "SHRINER HOSPITALS" - or what? If someone pays $65 to enter, EXACTLY where does this money go? Age 0 ?? thru 24?? Newborns competing??? Sorry, but this doesn't seem to be on the level. It's the seventh a
  21. I enjoy a good double entendre. The question on the ad says, "Is Dick Donavan SOFT on Crime?" I say "He's been a defense attorney for years - Let's look at his briefs!"
  22. More Beaver Facts: The bigger and older the beaver, the broader and flatter the tail! Beaver Hats used to be quite popular, though it's unclear as to how they were kept in place!
