I think that Madea has just fogotten how much controversy the flag thing was. It was several years ago..... What I'm wondering is what happened to the ability of people to be able to accurately assess character? I think that there's a real undescribed social dynamic at work here. It's one that seeks self-destruction. Nathan Deal? Really? This is the State of Georgia putting a loaded gun in its mouth and pulling the trigger. "Why didn't we see the signs?" people will moan. I see 'em!

I might like to get in the middle of that! No Doubt! -
I think that a considerable number of Georgians will vote Republican under any circumstances - ANY circumstances. I predict a collapse of our government during our lifetimes and it will be for situations like this!

I think that some people expect you to be 17. I know what you look like. I'm surprised that everyone who has been here awhile doesn't know.

If you love it, CC, let it go. It will come back again! Put the shorts away! For everything there is a season. This is the season for pants!!

One of my degrees is in English. I stopped being a grammar nazi when I stopped teaching English. I rarely have a lot of time to spend on PCOM. I type really fast and I occasionally mistype just because I'm in a bit of a hurry. It's not because I don't know the rules. I also use poetic license with my punctuation. You'll likely see many dashes, dots and question marks. It makes my responses a little easier to read, I think. Regarding what other people write -- I'm not as concerned about form as I am about content. However, it does tend to slow down my reading of a post when the author use

There's an assumption that the two are connected. The Shield killing may be a copycat*, rather than the second of a serial killing spree. It would have been known that MSL received the roses and MSL wasn't found in the trunk of the vehicle. Diane's murder didn't have two guys showing her off in N.C. and they didn't steal her credit cards. But yes, they (the killers) could very well still be alive today. *It would be a way to avoid detection if the assumption is made that it is part of a serial killer spree (although 18 months separate the killings) During the "missing and murdered childre

Clues: Bank Examiner husband who wouldn't answer questions (protecting himself or someone else?) Clothes neatly stacked, groceries in car (indiates method and intent as opposed to impulse) Blood smeared to exaggerate the scene. (Why smear, except to deliver a message?) Roses sent to her (to make it look like a suitor) Overheard saying she's married now (as opposed to before?) Credit card used in N.C. for gasoline - signature identical (may have been to provide proof of abduction to get the reward) Report of beaten girl with 2 men when card was used (eyewitness accounts of abduction) C

Could you enlarge that avatar, Mrs. A? It's difficult to see what's going on!! -
This is EXACTLY what problem the GOP has!! They complain about Obama, but they offered up McCain and Palin???? They hate Harry Reid, but they offer Sharron Angle??? And in the GA Governor's race, they can do no better than Nathan Deal???? Are there no better candidates for the Republican party to get behind? Or is this the best that they can do???? I happen to think that they can do better, but the powers inside the party won't budge from neoconservatism, so they keep producing an inferior product.

Madea, how about qualifying that characterization? You'd prefer a scoundrel to someone who (unsubstantiated) "screwed up the first time"?

Everyone has camera phones nowadays. If someone looks suspicious, why not take a picture? Of him and his Tag #. A 19 year old can tell if something looks not quite right. She should keep her distance because if the guy has a gun he could coerce her to get in the car with the threat. If he needs assistance, she should call 911. That's what they're there for. Police can render whatever assistance the gentleman needs.

Same here. One point to consider is that consolidation within any industry usually means higher prices.

Ga. pastor's academy had 'sex self-check card'

I think that if he was buggering young boys, that would tend to undermine any other life-lessons, don't you think?? In other words, it's like praising John Wayne Gacy's clown-work. "You know, he was the most delightful clown - Too bad about the bodies in the crawl space..." How can a man who used his position to get teenage boys to **** his **** be considered, as you say, "a good influence"???? And, yes, let's keep this about the "Eddie Long situation". Out of curiosity, why do you like that he said he'll be there next week? Why didn't he just speak from his heart to his congregation? -

My understanding is that the individuals involved, while technically children, were in their late teens. It's not proper for parents to hover over a 17 year old boy, nor is it proper for a minister to prey on him, climbing through this window of opportunity. Taking trips and sharing rooms with young boys is improper -- even if nothing happens! There's an appearance of impropriety to the extent that it's almost certain that Mr. Long used undue pressure and influence from his position to gain sexual favors from young boys. This is about a MINISTER behaving in an improper way and possib -
Has anyone else noticed that commercials regularly include background music or other sounds that include ringing (like a phone ringing)? It works, because I frequently look up to see what that ringing sound is - a phone? The doorbell? Nope - It's a commercial!

Sean Murray is family. He's not going anywhere. For clarification, he's the stepson of the producer, I believe.

I can,t either. The original is so phony that I watch it for amusement. That LA one is too far out there. It should have been NCIS San Diego. Why would the Naval department open a office in LA when probably 80% of navy and Marines are in the San Diego area? Excellent point about the location of NCIS LA! Here's what I like about the original. The characters are so well defined! And for the most part, you like them. I don't get the casting of Linda Hunt in the LA show! She's a capable actress, but she's drawing too much from her Principal's role in "Kindergarten Cop". "I'll be WATCHING

He's a CIA operative who comes into the picture every now and then (Kind of tall, bald) He blew up Tony's car, I think. Kort is an untouchable because he's usually performing some dirty work for Tobias (Fornell). It's kind of hard to tell whose side Kort is on. We'll see if that's "him".

It was just out of the blue, WFAL. I'm predicting --- Trent Kort.
