Do you have somebody you can leave the baby with overnight and just have a night with you and your husband? Even if all you do is cuddle and sleep it will be good for both of you! You don't have to go to a hotel-just come back home to your bed where you will be comfortable and just sleep.

gonna hijack my own thread for a minute-- I didn't know your son works at Chilis. We went in there Monday night for my daughter's 21st birthday and saw him. I asked the waitress if he could sing Happy Birthday to her, but a few of them came out and sang over Wade's voice. I wanted a solo by him, but I guess with his celebrity status I would havd had to schedule in advance.

My daughter is wanting a platform bed from IKEA but when we looked at them they didn't look very high quality. Has anybody bought furniture from there and can tell me anything about it? What about other furniture locations with platform beds? I don't want to spend a lot of money but I do want something that will look good and last at least a couple of years.

I am friends with a guy that collects stuff and is a member of www.churchonthestreet.com that will take donations to these people in an organized way. They also want volunteers to help out with this. There is always a real estate agent out there who will list your property. Did Mark give a reason why he wouldn't list it? If you owe more than what you can sell it for you can do a short sale, and that will stop the foreclosure and you can usually live in your home while it is listed under a short sale.

My daughter is going to college full time and working part time. She wants to be a special ed teacher because she always says "Mom, I can't tell any difference in them and me. We act just alike." Oh well, at least she's honest!

We went to Mellow Mushroom and had to wait 25 minutes for a table. I think everybody decided to get out of the house tonight. All of the restaurants we passed were packed out. We haven't had to wait on a table that long in over 2 years!

I have never had the pain that you all are talking about, but doesn't pain medicine just cover up the pain for a little while, and then the pain come back? Is there not a cure for the pain you are having-surgery? chiropractic? Why not fix the hurt instead of just living with the pain? I'm not trying to start anything-just wondering why you would want to live with constant pain if there is a solution?

We just got back from McDonalds. Didn't have any trouble on the golf cart! they are closing at 4 today, so if you haven't been you're out of luck!

WE have a 4 wheel drive golf cart that we have been riding around in and it it really fun, besides, we don't live far from there, but I don't want to get on real roads to go if they are not open. I have to drink unsweet tea and McDonald's is the best!!

I remember back in 1973ish we were iced in for a week and a half. No power, no way to get food, nobody working, no trucks running. It can and does happen in Georgia-just not often!

Thanks! I went to the facebook page and it said they had all the blackeyed peas and collards you could eat, so I just assumed they were open. Maybe they were open for lunch only that day. I will try again. Hopefully, after church we can try their brunch.

We went Saturday night for Black eyed peas and collards because we saw where they were serving them, but they were closed when we got there! Very disappointed! Now, we won't have money or luck this year. I do want to try them, but, I have been there twice and they were closed.

Well-you better hurry up and buy me one because my birthday is January 8. Or, better yet, you can babysit my 17 year old and my 21 year old so hubby and I can take a small vacation!!! I think the older they get the scarier it is to leave them alone, but no one wants to babysit for me!
