Good Evening Spartans, What an overwhelming show of support for the game in Gainesville. I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant about trying to reserve a couple of buses but you guys have really surprised me. I have never been more proud of being a Spartan than I am right now. As of right now I have completely filled two charter buses for our second round playoff game in Gainesville. As mentioned there is a cost associated with the charter bus and I will have representatives collecting money tomorrow at school and I will make myself available tomorrow night at practice for those

I received an email from the Touchdown Club stating this was an error. They are no longer allowed to bus the students.....other than the ones participating.

Thanks all. I've already searched ebay and googled for other sites. There were two on ebay...one sold in May and one in August. So............will just have to keep searching. I've looked at similar items, but I'm going to hold out for a while and see if I can find this one.

Agreed. My son is a Mechanical Engineering Technology major at SPSU and will graduate in 2015. Very challenging major. My husband, who makes many hiring decisions with a local defense contractor has said he much prefers graduates from SPSU or MIT over several other tech schools. They come to the job with "hands on" experience...not just theory.

Actually I saw several law enforcement cars/officers across the street from Rite-Aid.....in the gas station on the corner of 92/278 in front of Staples shopping center. Several of them were on their phones and there was a truck or van in the parking lot that they were around. It was around 11AM Thursday morning.

South beat Hiram 42-13....I believe that was the final score. North had a bye week. North, South & Allatoona are all 6-1 with South beating Allatoona and North beating South. North & Allatoona will play at Allatoona in a couple weeks. Should be interesting...................

Bless your heart! I do wonder how much it would save if everyone just paid up front and filed their own insurance? We used to do that, you know. My best friend is a manager for a large practice and estimates 75% of the office staff would not be needed if you didn't have to babysit everyone on insurance. Hmmmmmm..............that's a lot of expense eliminated...........expense that we end up paying.

Back in the day, most health insurance operated with a deductible and then they paid 70-90% and you paid 10-30%. Then HMOs came on the scene with $10 copays for everything (I'm thinking early 90's) and everyone started running to the doctor for every runny nose. That's when the whole system started on the path to hell. We used to KNOW we were responsible for the first $500-$1000 (equivalent to at least double that now) and budgeted for it.
