I asked that question in another thread...
-
I've already started this thread! \ How many "how many" threads will we have?
-
 I just started a new thread asking that question! Great minds think alike!
-
"no school tomorrow" threads do you think we will end up with??
-
If your kids are as bored as mine, remember that SPARKLES is open tomorrow and admission is only 99 cents. Open from 4-8 pm. Bring the kids out to skate!

My kids are doing the happy dance!

That's how I make it too. Sometimes, we put it in a loaf pan after cooking it, top with breadcrumbs and cheese and bake until brown. Yummy!

Thanks all. Shawn is a great guy, and does such a great job. I feel much safer knowing he is involved in anti-terrorism. He says what the public doesn't know would scare the hell out of all of us!

Thanks. I had to work today and didn't get over there, but my husband took the little ones and my oldest is going this evening after work. She wasn't feeling too good yesterday. Although I am no doctor, I suspect the amount of extra strength tylenol has something to do with this kidney issue. They were already damaged from the cysplatin (sp?) and she was taking big amounts of extra strength tylenol, plus tylenol pm to sleep. You don't need to be on it for a long period of time before you have kidney damage. My husband was going to mention this to the Dr today, because I am pretty sure Sh

He is making headlines again! He's a good egg. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/01/08/AR2010010803307.html The FBI has tapped a cybersecurity expert as the new head of its Washington Field Office, one of the largest and most prestigious posts in the crime-fighting bureau, a spokeswoman confirmed Friday. As assistant director in charge of the field office, Shawn Henry, 47, will be responsible for leading federal investigations of fraud, public corruption and terrorism across Northern Virginia and the District, bureau spokeswoman Katherine Schweit said. They did a blood gas test the other day. Yesterday there was a "meeting of the minds" with the pulmonologist, oncologist at Emory, oncologist at Cobb and my aunt. They are concerned about her kidneys. Apparently, when she was on her original chemo last year, it did a number on her kidneys. They are talking about dialysis, but waiting until Sunday to see if there is any improvement. As of right now, they haven't gotten worse, but are no better. Her creatin levels are at 1.2, which is apparently not good, but what do I know? They may do a kidney biopsy on Monday. She said she was breathi

I cam from there at 9:15 and didn't see anything.

Even this yankee will say the roads were icy, but not impassable. Slow and steady is the way to go. I did 15 mph the entire way. I was nervous about my daughter driving in ice for the first time, but she made it too (with a little coaching from mom!). My husband is on his way to Cobb hospital. HE's the one I worry about, even though he's been driving longer than I have been alive! lol

Thanks everyone. Waiting to hear what is happening today. In a nutshell.........Shannon says she can't breathe, but her 02 levels are at 98%. Apparently, the pulmonologist came in last night and told her if she can't breathe she should go to a hospice. She told him that she would decide when she was going. Other than the breathing part, she is ok. Anyway, we are trying to get my Aunt to talk to the lung Dr. My aunt is a Dr. Getting in touch with this pulmonologist is like trying to see God! It's impossible. We might see about getting her transferred to Emory where her oncologist is.

Thanks everyone. Please continue to pray.

Oh boy! I don't miss that AT ALL! -
Unbelievable!

Thanks again, all. Please keep those prayers coming. She will be there for a few days, at least..... I wish she didn't have to start 2010 this way. Last year, she came home from the hospital on New Years eve....this year it was the reverse!

I met my husband 2 days before my 18th bday. Before I even spoke to him, I knew he was the man I would marry. He is also 20+ years older than me. EVERYONE said it wouldn't work. As I was getting ready to walk down the aisle, my father told me it would be ok to just turn around and leave if I wanted to......lol. He was serious! 27 years and 3 children later, we are VERY happy.........and my father adores him! lol

She went to the ER last night. They admitted her. I haven't heard from her yet today.....
-
Thanks everyone. I am very happy she is here!

Shannon moved here 2 weeks ago. She's not feeling well for the last few days. She's been having trouble breathing. She hasn't had chemo in 2 months, and starts again on Monday with the head of oncology at Emory. She could use a little divine intervention. Any prayers today will help, I am sure of it. Thanks so much!
