Quick update: Shannon is still at Emory. Better than yesterday, but still VERY sick. My mom is being transferred to Piedmont. She has already had valve replacement surgery 4 times, so we are praying it is just a pacemaker issue. She was at Paulding, but apparently they aren't equipped to handle her issues. Damn, it's been a LONG day!

Thanks again everyone. My mom is still in the hospital, and I guess she will be for the next 2 days or so. At least they are taking care of her and I don't have to. Shannon is still not feeling well at all, and she has an appt with her new oncologist tomorrow. Please continue to pray for her. Thank you all so much! It makes me feel so much better knowing she is on so many prayer lists. TARA

Thanks again, everyone. It's been a long day, and will probably be a long night, too! Shannon is not well at all, and neither is my mother. Thank GOD for my sister, Tracy, who has been spending the nights with Shannon for the last few days. I don't expect to sleep much tonight........I am sure I will get a panicked phone call in the middle of the night from Tracy, although I hope Shannon is so exhausted she sleeps all night. Please continue the prayers. Thanks so much! BTW, this SUCKS!

I CAN HELP YOU!! Your story was my story last year. My daughter has THICK waist length hair. Exact same story as yours. We combed hair until 1 am! First I washed her hair with white vinegar. Then I coated it with tea tree oil (a lifesaver!) and combed that through. The vinegar and tea tree oil killed the lice. Then I washed it with rid and left the gel on overnight. The next morning I washed her hair again with tea tree oil....there was nothing left in her head! Completely clean, and the tea tree oil helps with the nits. I am so sad to hear about Thomas. I had the pleasure of working with him and LPPT. I can remember him trying to walk into Jerry Shearins office, and he just couldn't make it past the elevators. He sat there and cried, thinking he was so week. In actuality, he had amazing strength. I've thought of him often over the last year. Rest in peace, Thomas.

I just got back from the hospital. I can't believe the difference since yesterday morning. Prayers are WORKING! Please continue to pray for Shannon! Hopefully God can provide the miracle she needs. Will update again! Thanks so much!

I am from Long Island, and I am alot nicer than that... I decided to live here, and I love it. I will never go back. Guess that makes me a damn yankee! Oh well! Proud to be one!

Thanks again, everyone. I can always count on my pcom prayer warriors. We are very worried about her, and my brothers are flying in this week. I think my father is going to come too. Her best friend came in this weekend and was with her in the hospital. I spoke to her for about 10 seconds this morning, and at least she could talk, which was an improvement over yesterday. If you can, please add Shannon to any prayers lists you know of. I appreciate all that you do. TARA

I had the same problem with my floors. I tried EVERY product under the sun! I got the bissel steam mop about a month ago! I HIGHLY reccomend it! Not good on "grooved: linoleum floors though.

I am too tired to go into details, but we had to call an ambulance for my sister late last night. Please keep Shannon in your prayers. She couldn't breathe and I thought we were going to lose her. She has been admitted and was doing better when I left, but she needs her prayer warriors! Thank you all so much!

My son has an early Sept bday and he missed the cutoff. I was glad. He wasn't ready. He is one of the oldest in 1st grade, but I feel that is best for him.

Tell me about it! They were SURE I had it with babies 2 and 3. Nope, I just gain all my weight in the first 4 months. Baby 1 was 7 lbs, baby 2 was 10 and baby 3 was 12! Good thing there was no baby 4....it would have been an elephant! Good luck to you.......
