That shouldn't be a problem even if you are traveling with only a DL and a BC. I have been on many, many cruises, never with a passport and have never had a problem. And, if I got stuck on a carribean island.........well, there are worse places to get stuck! lol

You MUST have a passport OR a birth certificate. I cruise several times a year. However, I never changed my name when I got married, so my DL and BC have the same name on them. I can't help you, but you can call the cruiseline and ask.

According to the Ga Dept of labor, there are no restrictions on hours for minors 16 years of age and above. (No cutoff hour; no maximum number of hours per day). The only requirement is a valid work permit and that they are paid overtime if they work more than 40 hours. Under the age of 15, there are difinitive hours/max hours they can work. I completely agree with that. The employee needs to have a conversation with his/her manager, and change their available hours if it is a problem for them. And I also think that school comes first.

I have the exact same problem with my kenmore front loader. We have to keep the spin on low because it shakes things off the walls, and has actually broken glasses in my cabinets. Ours is also on the 2nd floor. It breaks at least 2x each year, and the parts take WEEKS to come in. Actually, it sucks socks into the motor..........now we have to keep all socks in a net back. NEVER AGAIN! Good thing I got the warranty and I keep it up. Repairs don't cost me anything....
