  1. Not that I'm too happy with using moveon.org for much, but this may be the one case where it fits. Let's make it easy for our neighbors to be heard: Here's the direct link, just copy paste into your browser to go directly there: http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/no-to-old-mill-industrial?source=c.url&r_by= At least sign the petition, please comment if the spirit moves you!
  2. MoJo: Nothing wrong with prayer or development, so long as both are appropriately placed. One of your two wishes is, the other isn't. Destroy a bedroom community to build a 300,000 square foot heavy industrial manufacturing facility with no leasee? Really? Throw it up less than 400 yards (as the crow flies), from an elementary school. Rigs & trailers using the same route as school buses on a limited access road? Talk about a ticking timebomb!!! "Bought it???????" They STOLE IT....Ninja style!
  3. Understand the rezoning meeting has been changed. Stand by for an update.
  4. EXACTLY! That's the "fishy" smell. I see that you can smell it too. Gotta follow the money.
  5. Sounds like a major bunch o' puddin' heads came up with this idea. Hwy 92 as well as Macland Road are nearly impassable already. The traffic load at that intersection backs up traffic nearly 1 full mile in each direction on Hwy 92 and a half mile on Macland each rush hour. Emergency vehicles cannot pass. School buses can't safely enter or exit adjacent neighborhoods. I strongly suggest that every resident in a three mile radius needs to be at this meeting. Our lives and property values are at risk. There is more than one way to skin a cat. I'll be contacting state and federal
  6. Had water this morning, but now it's dry as a bone. Indian Lake, between 278 and Macland on Hwy 92..........anyone know???
  7. C'mon over!!!!! Great accomodations........48" plasma screen on the pool wall, fully stocked bar ('course it'll be underwater too), Theatre seating, surround sound (does that still work underwater?)
  8. I've always wanted an indoor pool............I finally got it. Basement is flooded, looks like about 3" so far. All in all I guess it's only a wading pool, but I anticipate at least 6 feet by morning. All pcommers are invited over for my first pool party. I have plenty of Cheetos and Lays Potato chips that we can tie together for floaties. I would just finish filling it myself, but the water seems to be out. HA Water Water everywhere and not a drop to drink.
  9. Dunno.........??? On my way home from work, there were about 6 police cars at the Shell station @ 92 and Dallas Hwy. Thought I'd log on and see what was going on, but no info here about that one either. Try going to: www.ScanPaulding.com and maybe you'll hear what's going on.
  10. Wow.....that's an excellent artist's rendition. I guess the victim got a good look at him despite the report of him grabbing her from the back. Glad she's okay. I didn't know Paulding had a Police sketch artist. Good thing. That nasty booger probably thinks he got away Scott-Free....I wish I could see the look on his face when Paulding County nabs him. I be he's got no idea his face is plastered on this site. Too funny.
