Yes, I generally send out 60+ and receive nearly as many. However, I only have 2 this year so far. I love Christmas cards and "catching up" on those I don't see regularly. When I get my Christmas card tub out, I look back at all the letters and pics I have received over the years, and it makes me smile! This is the first year I did the doggie card. I took a picture of all my babies (since I am sure this will be my elder dog's last year) and made the card. I do enjoy writing out the messages, etc.

I would love to see Carter's also. What is a landmark for the intersection? Thanks in advance!

OK; help me, please. I got stranded coming home from downtown during the last flood, and it took me rerouting and 3 hours to get home. Are there ANY roads closed yet that I might not get through. I get off on Thornton, and didn't even get to Hiram on 278 before it was closed. Anyone know if any roads are closed between 278 and Nebo Road near Lake Swan Court?

Though I do not hate people that drink, enjoy having a drink myself and socializing with people who drink, but if you are one to get drunk and make the socializing an unhappy event, then you need to stop! Hello, my name is Sungoddess [on Subby's suggesting of starting this way!], and yes, the economy is choking the life out of me too. How to handle Christmas this year: Last year I began cutting back and have already talked to family about cutting back even further. Everyone understands, so we are okay. Thankfully, I still have the same full-time job - though they did not give raises -- and I found a part time job to help since I am a single person on one income. I think GotchaLooking was there, but I didn't remember her face from before (if that was her). It was a huge gathering and lots of fun. I guess we are the only ones that have the "open door" policy. My friends that are around a lot, never need to knock. I do lock my doors when in the shower JUST IN CASE they come by during that time. Sure wouldn't want to scare them if they see me naked!

I would say Saturday is Halloween night, and that is the only night I will be giving out candy. Don't understand why it would be considered any other night. There are festivals other nights, but as long as I have been around (and I'm OLD), neighborhood trick or treaters are always halloween night.
