OMG; is this not the truth! Just do away with the postal service period; we do not need people going postal on us! JK, but why would they do away with the stamp machines -- THAT was saving $$$$ because we didn't have to go to the counter. They are just creating jobs and work as usual. I say cut mail back to 2 days a week if nothing else! AND do away with the magazines and junk mail!

As a P.S., I just heard something that is very appropriate for this post. I don't know if you watch Criminal Minds, but at the beginning and end, they quote from various famous people or the bible. Today, it was, "what we do for ourselves, dies within us, but what we do for others, is immortal." WOW!

Sorry, this was not a sonic boom. I see my neighbors and friends of theirs doing something in their back yard and then running away to the front, and then the boom. Many times, and then they cheer and laugh. My dogs are terrified every time.

I believe it is my next door neighbors. This isn't the first time, and it is really scary. I live off Dallas Nebo on Lake Swan Court, and my cat came running in the doggie door like she was running from something, and 2 seconds later, the boom. AGAIN. I cannot believe people haven't heard it the other times they did it.

I do not have much faith in doctors, and I believe God gives US the knowledge to help ourselves and make that determination of when we give it over to a doctor. But when it comes to those that depend on us (i.e. children and the elderly), then we should use that knowlege God gave us to make that decision to turn it over to the doctors and others to step in and take care of our loved ones. I might let myself suffer more before turning it over to a doctor, but I could NEVER let my child or loved one suffer like that.

There are no words; God will lead you and guide you through this time and may you feel his presence always. When we got back in the car to leave, her 2 favorite songs came on, back to back. The first was Michael Jackson, her all time favorite entertainer. The second was Breathe (No Air). She called that one her theme song. I am sure those were signs from her, or at least I like to think so. We know she is there with you, and those are signs you will hold on to forever and ever, amen!!

I did the tour of the Garden of Good and Evil. I watched the movie before we went. It is based on a true story, and the cemetery is gorgeous! VERY interesting, and no ghost stories involved, just history but very interesting because it IS about a murder.

These comical moments in our lives helps us so much through these days and into the future. When I start thinking about the loss of my dad and how bad I miss him, I make myself think of the funny and happy times. I will always be praying and thinking about Shannon, you and your entire family that God will touch you all and help you through this pain and sorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and yours. May he always be there in spirit!
