IMO, anyone who is a responsible, hard-working, human being would not leave a mess for the city/county/state to clean. I don't think anyone really knows WHAT they are rallying for though. At least the reports I have seen, there is truly no real organization to the group. I am sure after camping in tents, the entire park will have to be re-landscaped, i.e., new sod, etc. MORE waste of $$$$.

Another waste of our hard-earned money. No telling how much this will end costing the country in the end. Typical of people like that.

What's your favorite comfort food for chilly weather?
sungoddess replied to Gipper Girl Rocks's topic in RECENT TOPICS
All those listed are my comfort foods also; however, I make the chili from the Wendy's Chili recipe; love it! -
I am salaried, and our firm started this method about 5 years ago. I have refused to work o/t now if I have any PTO scheduled and told my supervisor that. Thus far, other than when at trial, I have not worked any o/t when I have PTO days scheduled. Yep, it sucks though. They don't care because if I turn o/t down, SOMEONE WILL take it, so they are fine!

I am so praying that this baby is safe SOMEWHERE, but I do not have a good feeling about it.

AWESOME; happy for you. I am only a bit over a year away and have lots of plans in retirement and plan to stay busy then, but busy with things I want to do and fun things! Have fun and good luck with your surgery.

No it was Beau Weneroux that said it, not you, Lisa. You DID say you were a big girl, but beau said "it is not the person's fault they are fat." I have fluff too!

That's awesome. I do think it is unfair to make us uncomfortable because of large people. And friends of mine that are really large, they eat lots all the time, and it IS their fault. I know earlier someone posted it is not their fault they are large. Well, then, whose fault is it? :clapping:

I didn't watch it but just read the reviews, and it wasn't rated high. Well, one was a B+. Said too much sex and too much like those in the past; no originality. Guess I will have to watch it and see.

Oh no; please don't ban me. I sit and don't snore nor talk nor get up to go to the bathroom! You never know I'm there! But I do find MOST kids very unruly and loud and on airplanes, that just makes it worse. BUT not ALL kids; like ALL people are not "large" enough for 2 seats. We do seem to "lump" groups though, don't we?

OH YES, breakfast for supper was common back when we were raising our boys! Tonight? Who knows?

I don't do dead, and will be cremated. I told my boys I would haunt them forever if anyone saw me dead! As for MJ, it is like anything else in the world of the infamous, you pay the price for nothing ever being personal after living the life of the famous.

My house was robbed in broad daylight....
sungoddess replied to Gipper Girl Rocks's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I am so sorry to hear this GG. It has happened to me in the past also (about 3 years ago). I had an alarm system, but when it did go off in the past, it took the police 45 minutes to get there, and burglars come and go within minutes, so IMO, alarm systems do not help. The worst part of a robbery is you feel so violated. The first time it happened, I felt raped. I felt so uncomfortable in my own home knowing people had been in there and went through all my belongings and took what they wanted. However, I love having a dog because I think that IS your best defense. Again, I am so so -

Wow, looks so nice and cozy. I just have a normal fireplace. Gas starter and real wood, but I do have a guy that I buy firewood from already. I KNOW you will enjoy ole buck! -

I'm predicting riots, of course. -
As a grandparent, I so agree with you here. Are you a psychologist? Though I can't say I would have stood by a child of mine if I even had an inkling they killed my innocent, helpless grandchild, or any child for that matter.
-
I can't throw stones, because I am not the perfect parent either and I know of only one that walks on water and as a human, I have made many mistakes and will continue to do so. Soooo, I am hoping their faith heals them from whatever wrongs they did during this criminal trial, but I just can't believe they knew anything about Caylee's death just from their hysteria in all of this. BUT, of course, I have been wrong before. As for George's and Cindy's personal life prior to all this, I would hope they are the ones that have to work that out if that is what they want.
-
I support the parents (though IMO they (mostly Cindy) shouldn't have lied to support their daughter, so I would have watched it had I had the chance. HOWEVER, when it comes to the daughter, I will not EVEN read an article about her or where she is or ANYTHING. I refuse to accept the fact she exists. Guess I am in denial too (about her being found not guilty)! George went through hell with all the accusations against him. Sorry, but if those accusations were true, do you think I would let my little girl be around him at ALL! Been there; KNOW that.

TOP of the morning to you all! Yes, God has given us another gorgeous day. Everyone be safe and happy!

You are so right. IMO

The sad thing is that Tan is probably still writing prescriptions because all they get is a slap on the hand. TAKE THEIR LICENSE (what am I thinking, even then they slip through the cracks and continue on -- we have BIG cracks in America) AND PUT THEM IN JAIL FOREVER, and in this case, death sentence for the young man he killed. We'll never know how many others have died at this hands.
-
Isn't that the truth! I liked your babbling though!

Maybe because he had rather work than live off the government, and he needs his tools of trade to bring in that almighty dollar. That's how my mind would work.

Don't need a "committee" to tell us crime is up. I'm sure our tax dollars pay for these reports.
