She was born in 1959 in Tel Aviv to Jewish Yemeni immigrants. The parents had escaped the cruel Muslim regime in 1949.

She was blessed by God with beauty and song.

In turn she praised Him by spreading her gifts and her faith around the world.

She was known as Israel's Music Ambassador to the World.
