  1. I called the Paulding DMV two weeks ago to ask this question. I was told that you have 30 days to register the vehicle and the Bill of Sale (showing the purchase date) is all that you need to carry in the car during the first 30 days until you get a tag. If a were given only the title and didn't fill out a bill of sale, I recommend trying to get one if it is convenient. I wouldn't recommend keeping the title in the car. Click here to download the official Georgia Bill of Sale (Form T-7 Rev. 09/2008) in editable PDF format: http://motor.etax.dor.ga.gov/forms/pdf/mot...orm_Form_T7.pdf
  2. Yup, the only way you can post a video on P'com is through YouTube. I think the PCOM BIZ members (and other select member ranks who have HTML privileges) might be able to post the HTML for videos on other sites.
  3. On the occasion that I turn on the TV, I just flip through the channels. If the remote quit working, I'd just get up and turn the TV off.
  4. Wow, I saw your name as the Topic Starter and was wondering who dug out an old thread!
  5. Thanks for the info! Now, why do y'all recommend AirTran over Delta?
  6. I'll be flying down to Miami next weekend to buy a car and am wondering about a few things. The ticket price is the same for AirTran and Delta, which one should I pick? I won't have any checked luggage, just a carry-on. Will I have any trouble going through security with my various electronics such as a GPS unit, radar detector and a handful of various car chargers?
  7. LOL I'm with you. The self-checkouts are a big PITA and take a lot longer than a cashier.
  8. My household could benefit from one. The channel up/down buttons on my current remote are sticky and barely work after apparently some type of food or beverage was spilled on it. The remote was in the mouth of a nine-month-old baby today, so locking out slobber would be nice, too.
  9. I've had MagicJack for a couple of years now. It works well for my needs, which is an occasional phone call. If you use the phone a lot, you will not be happy with a VOIP phone connection because the call quality at times can be similar to a bad signal on a wireless phone.
  10. Dave Ramsey says to get long-term care insurance when you turn 60 years old.
  11. In that case... Poker game at my house next available weekend...
  12. Go to your favorite search engine and do a search for cell phone forum. There are many out there that I've used when researching a phone upgrade.
  13. This is why I avoid most third-party apps on Facebook and Myspace. I have never had any trouble from either website.
  14. Yes, according to the Ticketmaster website. Here's a link to search for nearby retail outlets: http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/stateselecttcenters.html
  15. So it's not "piece of Berlin"? I remember when The Regular guys had a contest during their morning show 10 years ago for the first caller with the correct lyrics for this song. LOL that's funny!!! 17 years ago when Joe Diffie came out with " ", I had a hard time understanding parts of the chorus. "And the whole town said that he shoulda used red But it looked good to Charlene In John Deere green" I thought it was "but his loves goes to Charlene"
  16. A new key costs that much if you get it from the dealer. Some keys you may have to, but I a local locksmith gave me a much cheaper price to replace a key with a security chip.
  17. Is that photo even real? I've seen that makeup billboard video
  18. Putting your GummyBear in your signature was a neat way to break the news to P'com. Man, I almost lost a hand after I mentioned you being pregnant on your Facebook. I can't imagine what you would have done if I had said something on here! So I guess only the people who go to Spotlight Karaoke knew you were pregnant? I'm sure everything will go well this time. You'll miss getting a hangover the morning after you turn 21 but at least you would feel sick for only one morning...
  19. I know a Terri who recently got married, and now her last name is Terry.
  20. The Douglasville, Paulding County area is at the corner of three counties: Paulding, Douglas and Cobb. It is roughly an average of about 5 miles from Hiram, Douglasville and Powder Springs. It is 10-15 minutes away from anywhere, but it's convenient to be only 10-15 minutes away from being somewhere no matter which direction you drive. I have lived in the Powder Springs part of Paulding County (on the East side of Hwy 92, whereas Douglasville, Paulding County is on the West side of Hwy 92) for five years and I am quite content.
  21. You only pay shipping and handling. LOL good response! But wait! There's more! Act now and you'll also get Steve McNair and his mistress! Ok, maybe I did get a little carried away...
  22. wow, that was really dumb to try to tow a boat with a helicopter
  23. Looks like SmugMug and Jimdo offer what you want. Unless you are looking to get it all for free.
  24. I hope it turns out to be as cool as I can imagine it to be. I wonder if Christine will be there....
