steaks out of the back of a truck
November Rain replied to whitewaterkayaker's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I've seen that guy setup on Brownsville Rd once or twice a year for the last couple of years. My friend bought some last year for a cookout and they were pretty good. When I saw his tent the other week boasting "20 Rib Eyes for $25," I decided to stop and buy some since I was going to another cookout the next day. I bought a box of the rib eyes and a box of the Angus beef sirloin steaks. Everybody who ate it at the cookout really enjoyed it. I was impressed by how good the steaks are, and will buy some more the next time I see him. According to his website , the company has been in the roa -
making yard sale signs, need a few materials
November Rain replied to November Rain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Ah-ha, I figured there was a product. The guys at the Home Depot kinda looked at me like I was crazy when I tried to explain it to them in the paint aisle. They suggested checking at a crafts store, which is what I was also thinking, but I just wanted to check at Home Depot while I was there. The shipping tape suggestion sounds good for small jobs, but I'll probably be making several signs and would need a lot of tape. Too bad I just sold the case I had to the UPS Store man the other day! Are you talking about yard sale signs? What size, color, design, verbiage? What and wher -
I am wanting to make yard sale signs for my neighborhood yard sale next weekend. I'm thinking of buying some neon poster board and using a big, black marker. However, I am curious if there is some sort of clear-coat product out there, perhaps at a crafts store, that I could spray over the sign to waterproof it and protect the signs from rain. Would Michael's have something like this? What stores have pre-made Yard Sale signs? I was at Home Depot the other day but they have only Garage Sale signs. I'm guessing Wal-Mart might, but I don't want to go driving around several stores and search

I just called; Birdies is a smoke-free establishment at all times. BTW, everybody 21 years old and over who opens this thread can go to MacFarlanes on Monday for Ladies Night and enjoy drink specials!

Hmm, I haven't seen any previews on Hulu yet. The clips for last week's episode, Road to the Multiverse, were funny.

Mmm, yummy. My dad found some El Yucateco habanero pepper sauce at a Hispanic food store that he uses like ketchup, but I like to use just a little bit to spice things up and add some flavor. The green one has a nice flavor, but the XXXTRA hot one will melt your face.

She uses 'em to make pies to feed to those boys

Hmm. I'm tempted to post a response to a previous post in this thread, but I think it might be a tad inappropriate. Anyway, it would be a referral to a commerce member who likes to have parties

I don't know about Birdies Wings, but I remember Buffalo Wild Wings tried allowing smoking after a certain time at night only after every minor had left. I don't think it lasted very long.

A quick Google search revealed an organized national event today through Life Chain

Glad all is well in cowbell land now. OK, I'll be the person who had to post a video showing the SNL skit. Or maybe not, since embedding is disabled on the videos I found. Here, I found this: http://www.buzzhumor.com/videos/28180/More_Cowbell

How does one set up a PayPal account for donations?
November Rain replied to Taylor's P.A.L.S.'s topic in RECENT TOPICS
You do not need to do anything to be able to receive money. However, if you have documented 501c3 status you may setup your PayPal account as a nonprofit and receive a 0.7% discount on the transfer fees (2.2% + $0.30 opposed to the standard 2.9% + $0.30), or a full 1% discount (1.9% + $0.30) if you have over $100,000 monthly volume. Party pooper I'm home with canceled plans and am in need of entertainment! Some say all news is good news, as it is a chance for publicity. I'm surprised nobody has asked yet where this place is.

In 2005 when Georgia banned smoking in public places with exemptions for restaurants and bars that do not serve minors, several restaurants had to make changes. I remember Buffalo's Cafe in Hiram enclosed their bar area and disallowed minors in that section in order to allow smoking. Capalbo's in Hiram went to 18+ and promoted that smoking was permitted. Some establishments felt that the smokers and the adult customers spent more than minors, and felt that this was a necessary change to stay in business. Apparently MacFarlanes is traveling the same road.

Well, technically, that could be done by disconnecting the pipe. However, a 5-gallon bucket would hold only 3 flushes, since toilets typically use 1.6 gallons of water per flush. I won't go into further details....
-
So you think the city clogged up the sewage at the restaurant because the owner decided to have adults only and allow smoking? Or are you suggesting that the septic problem is just a cover for the real issue?

Alrighty! I sent you a PM with the details for receiving 6 months of Picnik Premium.

LOL that sounds like fun! Ooo, I like that idea, especially after reading your last two sentences. You know what, I'll go ahead and start this tomorrow. Thanks for the idea! Go ahead and pick out something for yourself.

Well this morning I purchased The Big Bundle. TrialPay partnered with some of the biggest brands on the Web to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The Big Bundle includes $800 worth of stuff for only $30, and the net proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. I was able to buy the bundle with a 50% discount. Anyway, out of the 32 items included in my bundle, there are only a few items that I wanted and will get my money's worth from. For the rest of the stuff, I thought I could have some fun giving the stuff away as prizes for some sort of contest or game. I just need ideas for

Yeah, I posted that before I saw all of the polls. I am curious though how to search for polls...
