Yeah, cancel your credit card and shoot your credit score at the same time. Closing an account increases your utilization and decreases your history, effectively lowering your credit score. The only personal banking experience I have ever had has been with credit unions. I have no use with for-profit banks whose goals are to profit from their customers through various fees. I have no use for BOA constrictor or Walk-over-ya.

You may want to check into the amateur radio ("ham") community. I've seen old radios with vacuum tubes at Hamfests.

I don't know anybody who still likes their Blackberry Storm. Apparently it is common for that phone to freeze up frequently. I have the Samsung Omnia and love it, thought I absolutely hated it for the first month until I got use to it. I miss the keyboard on the Voyager/EnV, but overall the Omnia is better and more feature-packed. The smart phones require a $30 data pack (for email and Web) and are not compatible with V-Cast.

I use Opera Mini and I have to disable Flash to be able to load P'com, otherwise it will just freeze

I use the Lo-Fi Version to scan threads but have to load the full version to be able to search or post from my mobile. Having to load the full version takes a long time and sometimes causes my mobile browser to freeze. A mobile version of the site would be great. It would be awesome if the new board format has a mobile version, but if not, hopefully it will be better structured instead of having an overburdened webpage with countless nested tables cluttering the HTML.

Perhaps... I remember a lady and a young boy being there and checking out while I was browsing. Maybe it was overhearing your transaction that made me think to put my change into the donation jar after I paid. Well, the racks were quite full, surely there is a little more room now. I didn't help by bringing in three garbage bags full of shirts that I have outgrown and have given up hope on ever being able to wear Medium again. I still have to bring you pants and more shirts.
