  1. Thanks, BL! You inspire me. These wonderful people, we are speaking of, have come and gone. But, you are here in the now. I am happy to be of your acquaintance.
  2. I remember Carnegie quoting Charles Schwab, once. Mr. Schwab said, "I consider my ability to arouse enthusiasm among men the greatest asset I possess."
  3. I second that response, TC! bigsky hit the nail on the head, with that.
  4. I'll be willing to bet that the drug company sells the drug to foreigners cheaper than they sell the drug to Americans. Only pharmaceutical manufacturers may import such products. So we can go outside our country to buy the drug, and then return home with it.
  5. I'm glad you learned something, SS! That information may come in handy, for you, one day. P/com is a good and informative place to learn things. Having a lawyer in our midst is like very good. Jeannie, above, is a lawyer.
  6. Thanks, PUBBY! I was trying to renew my drivers license, before they expired, and was told I couldn't do it until the month before my birthday.
  7. I love it when a plan comes together, gog! The stupid Bishop didn't have to be shot, he killed himself.
  8. The personal actions the poster you are speaking of needs to examine their own personal actions, imo, BL!
  9. Thank you, Jeanne! At what point during the 7 years does a person need to start attempting the renewal process?
  10. I have learned that a judgment must be renewed before its 7th year on record. Can a person simply go to the court house and renew a judgment without having to hire an attorney?
  11. I went to Cobb, once, and saw a line reaching outside. So, I drove to Carrollton where I walked in and walked out in15 minutes.
  12. Talking to myself, low, is a way to assure myself I'm having an intelligent conversation. Do you ever talk to yourself?
  13. I laugh at myself all the time Hl! But, I also talk to myself all the time. I believe a person who does not talk to themselves needs to start right away. I find it very informative.
  14. From Wikipedia There is a standard regarding what a reasonable person is. This standard holds that each person owes a duty to behave as a reasonable person would under the same or similar circumstances. While the specific circumstances of each case will require varying kinds of conduct and degrees of care, the reasonable person standard undergoes no variation itself. This standard performs a crucial role in determining negligence in both criminal (criminal negligence), and tort law. The standard also has a presence in contract law, though its use there is substantially different. The
  15. Critics abound in every situation that is not of their liking. Legitimate criticism helps to inform a writer of a better way toward creating understanding in his/her words. But, if understanding is lacking in the critics themselves, it shows the material to be much more important than the critics might think.
  16. A Supreme Court that has been increasingly more conservative, over the last few years, may keep a million the 1.5 million plaintiff's in separate suits, rather than in a class action suit. This is because Wal-Mart will be better off in that scenario. A conservative Supreme Court will rule against the women, and in favor of Wal-Mart. I am willing to bet they do.
  17. You are exactly right, BL! I just love yo, and your humor, to death. If a person can't take humor; they shouldn't dish it out. The joke may be on them. And, if they can't take it, its their own problem.
  18. I have always thought women had every right to equal pay for equal work. Now, this is 2011, and I'm 66 years old. What is it going to take to get this sheeze straitened out? I have worked with women that can out do me. Now, I know there are a lot of them that can out do me. I allow them to open the door for me, before they walk around to the other side of the vehicle to drive.
  19. I appreciate it. Thank you, for causing it to come back! I am a firm believer in humor. Especially yours, BL! I thought dgitw, was in good humor, also!
  20. Back in 2008, we learned that there were companies that were too big to fail. Now, we may be looking at a company that is to big to sue. Why does our country support big companies over small business?
  21. I enjoyed that story, LTD! Yours too, Johnny! True stories are so much better than fiction. We cry good, and real, tears. The good is in the reality. I cry, though, even when something like this is fiction.
  22. Bias against women may be coming to a head, in a class action law suit against Wal-Mart. It could cost them Billions of dollars. But, why has this bias against women resulted in that much lack of pay. These people are not trying to get rich, they just want equal pay, for the work they do, just like the pay other people get. More than 20 other companies are supporting Wal-Mart, at the high court, on this. These companies include Intel Corp. (INTC), Altria Group Inc. (MO), Bank of America Corp. (BAC), Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) and General Electric Co. (GE)
  23. I was busy doing something else, and did not notice what was going on in this post much, BL! I would like to know that, myself. Is humor on some kind of black list?
  24. Information is filtered to our own liking, I think, BL! But, if we don't study and research information from intelligent people, we have less information to filter through. That is what you just said, I know, but it is put into different words. I don't mind paying for the information I get from a Ph D author.
