  1. People can also find out what others don't know in an honest conversation. In an honest conversation people admits things that a normal conversation doesn't let out. An honest conversation is about facts, not fiction. You may know people, who experience no fear of personal exposure whatsoever, even when they ought to. That is not even close to what I call honest conversation. They don't even have to wear a vest to be bulletproof. They think they are immortal. They protect themselves from criticism, even the undue kind. People who lie pays the price, however! Denial and a bunch o
  2. If I had learned about this in school, it wold have been too late to report it. Corruption that is over 20 years old is not worth people, attention. But, the strange thing is that a 50 year old scar is still on my arm. I think corruption by people with the same business name should be accountable, just like my scar is. New management who keeps the same business name should get the benefits of that, but they should remain accountable for the drawbacks of the business name.
  3. I like to think I am attracting attention, PSD, but not so much to myself! People who matter will read what I write and get something out of it, other than annoyance. People who don't matter may get very annoyed.
  4. I don't go onto Myspace, JTR, but I'm sure it's a place for a verity of communications. Thanks for spending some of your time here.
  5. When I want to jack things up and make a change I don't tell myself "I'm good enough as I am." The fact may be that I am not good enough as I am, and I've been living down here in the South like a 55 IQ retard. Being rational is not about some obsolete behavior that used to be some kind of rebel yell, or getting BS on a pair of clod hoppers. It's about reasoning and understanding our fellow citizens. Georgia has increased in population, and some of the new comers are as Southern as this old grit eater, but they don't think like I do.I treat them with respect, however, no matter what their
  6. A person could come in here with his freedom of speech along with 110 IQ, but if he allowed people to put him down his IQ could shrink to about 55, which is at the retardation level. I don't operate at a 55 IQ level like a retard who criticizes people so personally that they may as well hit them in the face with a pie pan full of sheeze. The people who don't like what I write, please do put me on ignore, if all you can do is get personal instead of debating issues. I like to think I can handle criticism, but I am only human. I criticize, myself, but I don't single a person o
  7. I'm a 66 year old Georgian, been here all my life. Do I qualify as one of those Southerner, sf47?
  8. I have trouble just lollygagging, but is that what it takes? I like to talk about things that have an effect on our economy, and our lives as healthy people. But, I attract disgust when I talk about, health, philosophy, ethics, compassion, etc. etc.. I do a lot of study, and research, in order to find out concrete subject matter when posting what I think is valuable information. I don't think I should change my ways, regarding the materials I get information from. Nobody has to read, what I write. There are people who never post or reply to the things I write, maybe because
  9. Sorry, low! I was thinking the same thing in reverse, but I just didn't say anything about it. I am trying to create something worth communicating about. I do a lot of research to make sure I am as perfect as I can be in trying to arrive at reasonable communication. It seems to me that everybody is for the rich man, and my social security check is in trouble. I worked all my working days trying to pay into the retirement system, and the rich people just keep on getting richer, while they don't want me to talk about the things they do. The people who aren't rich are for
  10. I'll take that advice under consideration, M W & A. I've been doing just fine the way it is, however! My insanity is good for me, because it doesn't talk back except to agree with me. Sounds like you guys don't need me involved.
  11. My wife beats me up every morning. She gets up about7:30, and I don't get up til way later. I'm getting tired of it, but my coffee is ready to pour in my cup, and I drink it while I catch the Doctors, on channel 2, at 10:00. I like to watch the doctors so I'll know how to take care of myself.
  12. That guy in your avatar don't have to say much. Look that how much material it took in those drawers he's holding up! I am back to say thanks for your reply, overit. Your avatar threw me off track there for a minute.
  13. Communication has taught me almost everything I know. I started communicating with my mother when I was first born, and probably even before then, with my kicks. I learned how to get what I needed from her, because I couldn't walk, and talk. Communication did not all come in the form of dealing with another person, though. Some of it came from living so far back in the woods that the little wild animals were all I had to communicate with besides my parents and siblings. When I started going to school, I communicated with a lot of other children, and teachers. I was not much of a co
  14. Have you ever given it any thought as to why some people don't want you to be able to express opinions that differ from theirs? I think it's because it's easier to get their own stories across, if they have less diversity in opinion. What do you think?
  15. That's good, Fluffy! I haven't left them as yet, but I'm about to. All I have to do is close out my accounts with them. I already have an LGE accounts.
  16. The Federal Reserve announced a record $85 million fine Wednesday against Wells Fargo for allegedly pushing borrowers with good credit into expensive mortgages and falsifying loan applications. The Fed accused the nation's fourth largest bank by assets of steering potential borrowers who could have qualified for prime rates into more expensive subprime loans. The authorities also claimed that employees of Wells Fargo Financial, a non-bank subsidiary closed last year, doctored income information on mortgage applications to push through borrowers that would not have qualified for based o
  17. I know what you mean, flossy! Learning from adversity can teach us, but we don't need to spend a lot of time in adversity. It sounds like you were not even aware of the adversity you were enduring, however! But learning how nit to manage it just as important, if not more so, than learning how to manage. During my Marketing studies I took a course in management. And, you sound like a manager from what you just said.
  18. It seems to me, by the looks of the economy around here, that organizations have used the vital resources without making sure they are taken care of. It also seems, by the looks of things in other countries, that organizations around here have done a lot of abandonment. It seems they have not only neglected vital resources, but is guilty of desertion. Am I the only one who can see this?
  19. People are an organization's most vital resource. How are this country's resources taken care of by our organizations? Do they just use the resources, or do they take care not to just use and abuse? What does it look like to you? Is it the government that uses the resources, and does not take care to make sure the resources remain in good health? Did the government do this to the people?
  20. The main purpose of this post is to draw attention to skills and behaviors necessary for successful supervision of people and job responsibilities without being a "Control Freak." Personnel management, basic supervisory functions, supervisory skills and techniques, and the the special demands of supervising employees, doesn't allow room for a "Control Freak" to wast anybody's time. I'm talking about "wise supervision." A "Control Freak," is lacking in wise supervision. That's what I'm saying!
  21. No problem, e_m! Are you a boss, lead man, manager, or where are you on a chain of command?
  22. I love it when people stand up against this kind of BS! They probably charge as much as a good doctor's office does. The same amount of co-pay, anyway.
  23. I can't believe that some people don't know what a relationship is. It seems to me that some people think a relationship is a marriage, a man woman get together, or family type relations. But, a relationship is much more than that. A relationship is an association. No matter who you associate with you are having a relationship. How is that so confusing? Just because you are involved with someone or some group, doesn't mean you are married to them, nor does it mean you are sleeping with them. It may simply mean that you work in the same organization that someone else does. You might n
  24. Labels like "patient" or "student," gives a person sanctioned "timeout" from the performance demands of the world. You are at least something with a label like that. But, what if you are so very much more than the label says you are?
