George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin, murder or self defense?
Eddie Bennett replied to ihaveadog's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Shawn Hannity is an idiot, and a bigot. He thinks people can afford to drive to Wall Street to protest. What a fool. -
I'll tell you what. When I was a young man I cared a lot about my girlfriends vagina. And, when I got married I still cared a lot. I wanted to go into the delivery room to see the arrival of my babies, but it was not common practice back then.

Do You Exercise Your Right To Speak Out?
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have been told to shut up, among many other controlling words said to me. Personal attacks have been many, but I love it. I like it when people talk to me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you like for people to talk to you? Is it important that they agree with you, or do you just know you and the other person feel the same way about the subject? Do the two of you talk the truth to each other, or is there some kind of program about what to say? Can the other person tell you what he/she actually t -

A bigot is a bigot, no matter who they are otherwise, feelip! Bigots lack common sense, and rely on collective bargaining to socialize. -

You have a right to stand up, speak out, and talk back. Do you utilize that right, or do you allow the majority to shout you down? People will shout you down if they feel their belief's are more common, in the area you and they inhabit, if you don't stand up, speak out, and talk back. I've seen it happen, many times. When you are in Rome, you don't have to do as the Roman's do. So why should you have to do it on P.com? I've seen it happen. I even believe that some members don't speak, because they feel they will get shouted down. It's been getting so much better, though! I l

I think common is left out of that sense of the situation, fillip! Kings used to live a good lifestyle, but that was not very common in the sense category either. A capitalist country cannot survive without commonality, especially where the people (inhabitants of the country) vote. -

I know what you mean about that ll! I used to be cruel to an individual I felt needed a good whipping. I just made up my own mind that they needed that whipping. I only speak in general terms, now, and I do not touch anyone personally. -

The chain of command, which I speak of sometimes, is one of the most powerful thing you have in your life. Part of that chain will never be changed. It has already happened, and you inherited it. You were not consulted, and you had no choice in the matter, yet it was a very big deal. One of the things that happened was that you were born. Nobody consulted you on your birth. But, there are a lot of other things that has happened in your life, while you were not consulted. Can you think of any of those? -

I was once a vigilante. I have mentioned that I would seek out bullies, because I hated what they did to people. As an older adult I have stopped doing that. I was taking the law into my own hands, and subjecting myself to prosecution. I found that out the hard way, when the long arm of the law caught me. I don't think I ever broke any bones, but I did put the hurt on a few bullies. A vigilante is someone who takes the law into his/her own hands by trying and/or punishing another person without any legal authority. In the 1800s groups of vigilantes dispensed "frontier justice" by holdin -

LPPT, Lets consider a car. A car is not human, as we know, but it goes through some of the same things a human does. After years of its being subject to door dings, blazing sun, bone jerking potholes, finder benders, and maybe even collisions, it's hard to look at that car and even imagine that it was once the shiny and solid automobile that sat on the showroom floor. But, the good news about a car is that a beat-up jalopy can, and often is, restored to its original condition. You, as a human being, cannot be restored, but I guarantee you are dancing the right human dance. I am not -

I know other people are important. Loneliness is not a good thing. But, if other people start telling you how to live your own life, that is being to afraid of loneliness. I feel better by myself, because I am my own best friend. I have enough other friends to keep me from being lonely, and that's all I need. I don't care about going out into public where a lot of people may like my "dance." I just as soon a few good friends like my "dance." And it cost them nothing to see me "dance." They also charge me nothing to see their "dance." --------------------------------------------- -
How does anyone get stuck in a life that ignores what matters to them? If people stop to think about where their life has gotten them it may be totally different than they really wanted, because if given the choice, they had rather be doing what matters most to them than the "dancing" they have been doing for other people. I started telling people, long ago, to do their own "dancing" and stop watching mine. I am not performing for their amusement. This is MY "dance." Some people have gone so for as to tell me they don't like my "dance." But, I don't give a flying rats arse whether they li

An idiot is one who carries a gun to a debate. Why? because he is scared. I'll admit that a gun comes in handy in a gun fight. But, unless you are a qualified law enforcement officer you normally are just in a disagreement on politics, property, or family matters. Carrying a gun to public places, where there are people all around, is idiotic. I will watch a person with extreme vigilance. They might kill you for calling them an idiot. -

Good old common sense sense is what you have D...R! You make a lot of sense, to me, in most everything you say. It's good old common sense. It never ceases to amaze me how others can stray from common sense so far. -

People who carry a gun are scared people. Be very careful around them. They might kill you if you walk by to close to them. If they are afraid you might come back, they will follow you until they get a chance to kill you where there are no witnesses. This is chicken little BS at it worse. They might kill you because you have on clothes they are afraid of. Keep your eyes open, folks! -

People do have what is called fixed beliefs. They did poorly before 2008, they are doing poorly now, and they will still be doing poorly next year. They have done poorly for so long that the belief that they are doing poorly is entrenched. These people are highly resistant to change. They do not change, have not changed, and will never change. -

If a frog had wings, GD, he would bump his arse less. He could even fly is his ares was not to fat. But, with a double digit repeat of bumping his arse it would put a serious damper on his flying. -

No matter how deep your individuality has been berried by your status quo orientation, you are still in there. You just need to spend some time on your own unadulterated candor (unmodified sincerity). Next time some SOB starts telling you what to do, or how to act, tell them to stick their head up their ares and quack like a duck. -

The problem, MTA, is that people wants me to behave in a certain way. They don't like it when I use my own dialog instead of agreeing with the BS they produce. I am supposed to fit into the status quo, around here. That is the reason they single me out as an individual. They were probably raised to be good kids, who didn't make waves, and didn't appreciate anyone who did. NOW, they may be adults, who still are just like good kids. They were probably rewarded for pleasing those in authority. By not upsetting the status quo they have reached their goal. They just go right along with the expect -
