  1. What a beautiful baby. Lucy is a great name. Congratulations.
  2. You have my sympathies too. This has to be one of the hardest things to do.

    My Daddy

I'm sorry for your loss. We lost my husband's brother Saturday too. Was not a good day.
  5. This is legitimate. They offer some good options. I tried them, but I live in a valley and don't get good cell service at all and, this wasn't an option for me. They use the Sprint network so, if you get good reception with sprint, it is a very good option.
  6. My mother in law was a patient there. They bent over backwards for her. I have nothing but good to say about the staff and facilities.
  7. I was in an auto accident some time ago and had an MRI last week. Turns out I have some bulging discs and spinal stenosis. I've been going to a chiropractor who is very good and has helped a lot. Now, though, apparently I am needing some stronger therapy. Ortho recommended steriod shots, a course of 3 if needed. Anyone have any advise, pros and cons, or any experiences. Thanks for your input.
  8. Well, I guess I'll have to pony up for a new all in one printer. My HP is dying. Anyone have any recommendations for inexpensive printers and not too expensive ink?
  9. I live close by, but didn't hear anything.
  10. Some folks I know are looking for a sawmill. They have an extremely large tree they have to cut down and are thinking of taking it to a sawmill to get boards made of it. Anyone know where there is a sawmill?
  11. So I had this beautiful watermelon to cut this afternoon. When I put a knife into it, it just split like crazy. It was a beautiful melon, sweet and tasty, except it was mushy, yuck. Really, just yuck. Well, not wanting to waste that wonderful sweetness, I looked on the internet to find out what to do with mushy melon. Low and behold, the first thing I found was granita (basically slushy frozen juice). So, loving the adventure of testing out something new, I juiced the melon, placed some of the juice in the freezer and it's lovely and slushy now. I'm taking it to a friend's house for gir
  12. I use that same recipe for my cobbler too. I have added a few blueberries and it a very good combination.
  13. I know people who are in Paulding's facility. All reports are good. One lady has been there for a few years - her daughter would not allow her to remain there if it wasn't an exceptional place.
  14. That is a wonderful story. So happy for you. That grandbaby is definitely a cutie. Congratulations on a happy ending.
  15. My family went to dinner tonight at R Tuesday tonight in Dallas. We were so disappointed. The restaurant was smelly, the floor in front of the salad bar was so sticky it almost pulled off your shoes, and the food was subpar. We had 3 different meals ordered and each one failed to meet our expectations. Has anyone else had similar experience with RT?
  16. Whatever kind it is, it is quite stunning. So glad you found it. Love the duckies too!
  17. I was up there after it happened. Didn't see any people, but both vehicles were very badly damaged. Hope everyone is going to be alright.
  18. I really enjoyed that too. Loved that they all splashed together.
  19. We have 2 that frequent our feeders. We used to have quite a few, but over the years they have dwindled down to a few each year. The male was visiting this morning.
  20. Hope you feel better soon. It has been a tough spring.
  21. We use our phones only as phones, no texting, etc. I also appreciate face to face conversation.
  22. You could also think about a small fall garden.
  23. I have often wondered what the little folders are in the different forums next to the topic descriptions. Some are blue, or red, some light, some dark. Just wondering what they are.
