OK, the garage side by side Fridge hick-upped on my yesterday. The freezer door will not seal tight on occaision, and SOMEONE [ida Know, or Not Me] left it ajar Saturday night. Wednesday night I noticed the fridge was not as cold as it should be, and I put a thermometer in it. First thing yesterday I checked it.....50F!!! NOT GOOD. Called Pate's and when Bryan called me back he told me several things to check. I had a wall of frost on the back of the freezer compartment. Could be heater, timer, etc, for the defrost cycle. I asked if the door being cracked several days before overnigh

I am Catholic, but also realistic and pragmatic. My 2 issues with the RTL movement and those wanting State Legislation: 1] Until the Supreme Court overturns Roe v Wade, no piece of legislation will stand up in court. 2] Are the RTL supporters going to support a ban on birth control pills as well ?
-
Partisan Politics The Repubs are still wanting to kick the dead horse somemore with the RTL Legislation. If this is approved in the primary, expeted to see substantial amounts of time, energy and effort wasted in the next Legislative Session trying to pass a bill that the Supreme Court will void.

Beverly was there putting up her signs personnally.

Find me a residential develoment with Tommie involved. Does he rent mini-storage units, yes. Does he develop residential propertries....NO. Does David Barnet sell goods to homebuilders in some other county....YES. As I understand his biggest customer base right now is around Auburn, Alabama. Todd sells houses, lots, and land....to whomever wants to buy. I guess per your comment that is now a tainted industry as well ?

LTD, Must be something in the water. We agree again To ANYONE who has attended or watched a BOC meeting since Tommie Graham took office, he is obviously on of the most astute and prepared commissioners to have ever been on the board. He is to be congratulated for his work and the time he spends getting to the crux of the matters at hand. With some time, and some help from other commissioners I feel he could be a tremendous asset to getting us industry and local jobs, but he cannot do it by himself.

Sorry, I have not SMEARD a candidate. I expressed MY OPINION on what I saw happening 2 years ago when local GOP "Higher-Ups" were promoting one candidate over another, and what I see happening here the same way. Ithy, Praise Thee, or whatever his Avatar or name is printed a handout linking himself to the local republican party, with a nice disclaimer on the bottom. In that Handout he did indeed tell some lies and create confusion based on half truths. I rebutted him and I am accused of smearing those Ithy is and has been endorsing. Go figure So when Ithy/Praise Thee is u

Also known as Althea. They can become somewhat invasive, and will start popping up everywhere the seed pod falls. We have several hedges of them, mostly the lavender or purple.

One and the same, and he was Ithiel [ithey] prior to that. It is evident to me, and his smear sheet confirms it, those who have been in charge of the Paulding GOP for the past decade are using their influence to promote a specific slate of GOP candidates for the commission seats up for election. There is no "PROOF", except for those who sit in on the strategy sessions and I imagine that will remain out of sight. But, from where I sit, it "appears" they are endorsing Beverly Cochran, Vernon Collet, and Jason Anivitarte. They did the same thing 2 years ago with the Chairman's rac

I have not seen a complete list, but I know Gary Black who is running for Agricultural Commissioner will be there.

Is this Meet & Greet for all candidates, or only Republicans ?

I am quite doubtful a proctologist can cure his problem. I am afraid it will take an ass to remove that elephant snout from his rectum. I am still undecided, but like you, I have met with Will and am impressed. I have not kids in school and won't have grandkids in them for years to come, but I still say our children are our future and it is our responsibility to ensure the kids get a proper education. I think Will can help make that happen. -
If the Chairman can find out who inspected this house, and why it was approved with no attic vents, it could say alot about Paulding being on a new path to doing things right and protecting the citizens who buy these houses assuming they have indeed been properly inspected.

BP Educate yourself on the Group who has run and controlled this county for the past 12-14 years. The legacy they have left us is pitiful. They got their butts handed to them on a platter 2 years ago, losing 2 seats on the BOC they could ill afford to lose. Now those who were in charge are doing their damndest, behind the scenes to take control again. And this group will stop at NOTHING to get the BOC back under their control. Don't believe me, or Whitey, or whomever. But do indeed get out their and educate yourself on what has happened in the past and work hard to see to it that it d

I believe Medea is referring to Stout's less than transparent statements, or lack there of, concerning the details of what led to his first marraige ending. -
Let your children's dentist know you are on well water. They will probably suggest a periodic flouride treatment. We have always been on county water, but discovered we had a well in the jungle the spring after moving it. It was a shallow bored well you could lift the lid off of and look down. We got a well-man to come and get it running again and used it to irrigate the garden and supply a constant trickle of water to MrsSurepip's Koi ponds........until the developer blasted with 630 pounds of dynamite less than 300 feet from our house. The well-man said the bottom of the well collaps

How did this home get a CO, with no roof vents ? Simple question.... Is the county going to make Legacy install them and repair the damage ?

So if it costs the State $500 to do an inspection, and the 40 years old fee for that inspections is $25, we should leave it there so as to not have a "Tax Increase" ? Give me a break. Charge the customer at least what the cost is. It should, I agree be revenue neutral, but the taxpayers of the state should not be subsidizing inspections as required by law. Stout, you blew it on this one, plain and simple. Charge the customer what the cost is.

Where is the Legacy Communities just featured on a news report on WSBTV in ATlanta ? I went to the Secretary of State website and there are literally hundreds of Legacy Communities "something or other" LLC, in Georgia. Just wondering which builder managed to get his inspections and certificate of occupancy with no roof vents.

They have not "plugged the hole" because BP, and the oil industry in general is in over their heads on this one. The pressures and inhospitable conditions at the sea level are so severe they have no way to go about doing anything other than watch it blow. They have not been able to contain even a reasonable amount. The size of the the oil slick already released into the Gulf is so unprecedented just about everything that can be done is the equivalent of pissing into the wind. Until a relief well has been drilled and tapped, the oil will keep flowing and the volume is so great there

Gin and Tonic makes it almost bearable......as long as I stay inside. I REALLY, REALLY did NOT want to cut grass today anyway.

The grass is NOT getting cut today. No way, no how.

The climate there, right now, is certainly more condusive to the game than it is here!

Might be a coincidence, but the train at the tunnel under 278 between Cadillac Blvd and Harris Trail had their emergency horn blowing for about 8 to 10 minutes at this same time. It was starting to really grate on our eardrums.

I have to disagree, The US tying England is almost like East Paulding tying the Bulldogs or Yellow Jackets. They have some of the best players in the world, and Rooney, their striker is a magnificent player. Just keeping him from scoring was an accomplishment.
