[Calling all Crafter!]

East Paulding Middle School will be hosting our first annual Holiday Craft Show December 9!!!!!! Applications will be going out in the next couple of days. If you need one and do not have a student at the school, let me know!

 

Application fee is $20.00. This will get you a spot for your table. Please bring your own table as the school does not have enough for everyone.

 

All items need to be hand made only. No garage sale items will be allowed.

 

Time for the show will be 9-5 on that Saturday and there will be a concession stand as well as baked goods, etc..

 

Hope everyone comes out and enjoys all the wonderful Holiday decorations that will be for sale!!!!!!!

[Need a wheelchair for a day...]

We have an elderly relative wanting to come watch our kids play ball on Saturday. Not sure he can walk the ballpark without having short of breath.

 

I thought maybe I could borrow a wheelchair just to transport him from the parking lot to the field and back.

I wanted to give a great referral for this p.com member...gadawgfan & house cleaning.

 

I needed asap help with a house cleaning and she responded and came through with flying colors! She was sooo nice, very accomodating and did a SUPER JOB.

 

In my time of need (a death in the family, relatives coming in town and my house a wreck)...she truly saved the day for me!

[Play Doughs Closet]

OK, all you bargain shoppers. A friend of my daughters told her about a place called Play Doughs Closet (not sure if the spelling is correct on that). I believe it is somewhere near Town Center Mall and they sell name brand clothes and discount prices. Is this like a second hand store or something?? Any info you can give will be appreciated

 

 

Super place! Cillie's is good too, but not near the inventory as the first has to offer.

 

The only advive I can lend is to maybe take your child with you, as they have dressing rooms. I went and found 12 pair of HOLLISTER and ABERCROMBIE JEANS (the only thing my dd will wear right now). They were all in BRAND NEW condition. I paid $100 for them. They would have cost me over $500 retail. Unbelievable, I know. But when i got home...only 3 pair fit her. The lengths were so off! Anyway...I kept my receipt and they happily gave me a refund.

Heeeyyyy...I live in Riverwood and although...so far....knock on wood...I have not been a victim...I am SICK AND TIRED of this crap. Our neighborhood has been hit with vandalism and now home invasions!? WTF??

 

What are we to do? I know for a fact, that my daughter has heard at school from some major troublemakers that they know where she lives and she better be happy they haven't rolled her yard. Can you believe this? These are kids who are known to be troublemakers for years. Are we seriously the victims of middle schoolers?

 

For as much stuff that has been going on in here...I have YET to see patrols through our neighborhood. I say it's time to take matters into our own hands and put our OWN patrols out and catch these creeps red-handed.

 

It just makes me sick. This is a nice neighborhood and we have had our own share of troubles (with builders and developer). I will not sit by and let punks ruin our neighborhood and take what we are working SO hard to have.

 

I am just sick!

I need to know where to download music for FREE and SAFELY I had Limewire but it gave me 16 viruses and a Worm.. so I can't use it anymore.. Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

 

 

We get most of our music from www.allofmp3.com.

 

It is not free, but very, very, very cheap. Like .13 for a song. It takes a little while for the "newest" to get on there, but well worth the wait.

ok....i am a bit of a lurker here....but read about the tunnels and told my hubby & friends...i am now the butt of many jokes.

 

i need a solid, honest answer......is it really happening?

I think they should turn it into a cajun night club called "Fais Do Do" (pronounced fay-doe-doe). 

 

A Fais Do Do is a cajun party.  Everybody in town comes and "passes a good time".

 

It's a family affair.  People come, people go.  As the night wears on there are fewer children.  It's a community thing.  There's dancing and singing usually by amateurs.

 

In this case think of a big, well lit restaurant/bar with a big dance floor and a stage.

 

The idea is to come and have a good time, but don't come to get drunk or cause a problem.  This is NOT a meat market.  It's a gathering of friends.

 

I could see them serving 'real' cajun food.  Not this too hot to taste S**T they call cajun.  I'm talking boudin and crawfish boil and chicken gumbo and sauce picant'e and fried fish and jambalaya.
