Pubby you are right on target with this post,Good analogy Madea, NewsJunky where are you when the facts begin to come out on your candidate????????? Crickets Crickets, Chirp chirp ?????????????????

Who approves the budget?
-
Pigpen below you will find the actual copies of the ads that the school board was required to run in the Dallas New Era in 2006 per Georgia Law As Pubby has pointed out in an earlier post The first notice is clear "NOTICE OF PROPERTY TAX INCREASE" The second notice is clear "PRESS RELEASE ANNOUNCING A PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE" The third notice is the "CURRENT 2006 TAX DIGEST AND 5-YEAR HISTORY OF LEVY" The last two lines in the third notice show the amount of taxes being collected and the percentage of TAX INCREASE. I did not write these ads the Sch

Pigpen theses are facts, She voted for two SPLOST taxes, Three Bond Issues totaling over $200 million and two Millage rate increases in 2007, And every budget that included the need for additional tax dollars,You can call it whatever you want too but I call it a Tax increase

Pigpen a look at the figures that the Sound Guy posted reveals the real facts of the budgets that Paulette voted for, I only wished that the record was available for her entire term in office. I hope that you agree with me that budgets are approved by the School Board. 2002 -2003 Budgeted $34,055.167 Millage rate= 17.209 2007-2008 Budgeted $71,801,202 Millage rate= 18.909 Any way that you want to look at the figures, And any semantics that you want to apply The School Board (Paulette) voted to more than double the budget Required to run the school district in the (Maintenance and Opera

Madea As I previously stated SoundGuy posted the Record of Paulette'Record of the many times that she has voted for a Tax increase, For your convience I have researched the post and here is the Post http://paulding.com/forum/index.php?/topic/248575-politics-and-fireworks-at-taylor-farm/page__p__3203647entry3203647 ? Post 31 I am sure that you will note that this only covers six years of her tenure on the School Board and the taxes almost doubled during those six years. Anyone can say that they never voted but for one tax increase, But the minutes of the Board of Educat

I know otherwise, And SoundGuy has already posted the minutes of the BOE, In another thread as proof

My stand was "NO NEW TAXES ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" Paulette and the School Board lost the first round in 2006, And then reorganized and presented the school bond again in 2007, Along with thousands of dollars of special interest $$$$$$$ And got it passed by a landslide. Paulette has always been a fan of Shearin, And Supported him openly in 2008, That was the year she got beat by a landslide on the school board,And one of the main issues in that election was her votes to raise school taxes. Pretty clear to me who dumped on you, I believe It was the same crowd that is supporting Paulette now. Will A

Mason, I opposed all but one, And got doubled crossed by the School Board on that one, And opposed everyone since,This same group was the group that dumped on you in your election, REMEMBER!!!!!
-
I recall when you served on the BOE board with Paulette.I also recall all of those tax increases and bond issues that was proposed and passed by the Schoolboard, And the school board minutes sure reflect who voted for those tax increases, I really do not think that the citizens of Paulding County have forgotten those day's If they have then I sure do plan on putting out the facts before November. I am very suprised that Stout did not run on her record. She is no conservative, And her record will prove it
-
[/b] What!!!!! Oh no he does have his finger in the pie!!!!!!
-
I think that Paulette would really like to debate Will Avery. I watched her at the Theatre and the debate on P.com and, she handled the incumbent Stout pretty good, and I am quite sure that she would be able to debate Will Avery very well. An open fair debate is always good for both the candidates and the voters.

Challenge to Chairman of the BOC and other Post Commissioner
WHITEY replied to clover's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Clover Do I detect a hint of sarcasm in your post? Just so you know David Barnett and Todd Pownall both pledged to forego their salaries for the first two years of their terms, and, will do so because that is the type of individuals that they are. Both of these candidates realized the need to be a part of the fiscal conservative trend of the Board of Commissioners. I am sure you are aware that ALL County employees which includes everyone from the Commission Chairman David Austin to the employees who work on our roads have also been required to take furlough days without pay, And have also n -
I believe that all of Todd pownall have been or will be removed by tomorrow night, If some are still up after then if you will PM me I will come and get them, If I knew the location of the David Austin sign I will also remove it

Paulding County BOC passes millage rate increase
WHITEY replied to LPPT's topic in Paulding County NEWS
The political campaigns for the commissioner’s spots are over and done with, two new commissioners will be sworn in at the first commissioners meeting in January 2011 to replace Don Powell and Wayne Kirby the two incumbents who chose to not run for re election. Our County is going through some very tough times right now both from a loss of jobs and a loss of tax revenues and it is imperative that we as citizens set aside our political bickering and work with the commissioners to move our county forward. Last night Tony Crowe came over to David Barnett’s campaign headquarters and made a speec -
Not only lonely but also barren on any news or visitors
-
So why are you supporting Beverly?
-
WELL? Well I guess everyone is ignoring your question, But that is par for the course for her campaign
-
And so has every other candidate in the dallas new era
-
You are part of the conspiracy your web site supports the AFP according to the home page. This local chapter is a farce and I hope the citizens discover that this is only a power grab by the old guard to retake the reins of local government
-
So you have nothing showing Beverly opposing millage rate increases? WOW
