^^^^^ Sage advice that's suitable for framing and widespread distribution. ^^^^^^

Excellent topic. We don't feel so trapped because we could get out from under our house. It also helps that we get along very well with our neighbors.

I synced my iPhone to a folder on my pc that has pics and videos. I checked the box to sync videos too, but I can't find them with the pics in the 'photos' application (I think it's called an application...the flower icon on the home screen. If syncing didn't put the videos in the photo app, where would they have been put instead? Thanks. P.S. This iPhone thing is worse than crack. It just keeps on surprising me. Oh, and I reckon the voice control recognizes redneck-ese.

Are you going by yourself...taking small kids? When I was younger, my wife and I would wade the creek back home, fishing it along the way. It wasn't relly wading, more like walking from pool-to-pool in the dry months and wading the deep parts if we had to. We caught a god-awful lot of fish. We'd catch probably 3-4 eating size bass every time we went--throwing them back--and probably 15-20 fish in all (not counting the tiny ones). Goldmine lake might be a good place to go, but it's a long walk from the highway. I wouldn't take a kid under about 8 years old and I wouldn't take anyon

Almost anything other than what it is.

They were suposed to call me 0900; I had to call them. All I know at this point is that I have a verbal comittment from the provider that none of this is my fault--that I don't have to pay these crazy charges. I'll believe it when I get the next bill. I was told that everybody who bought an iPhone yesterday has this problem. Yes, it's with AT&T. Except for the failure to call me back, they're handling it OK so far. P.S. I didn't wait long after 0900 to call them, so, I'm not very upset by that.

Thanks. While I was talking to a provider-someone about it this morning, I got a message that I now have $600 of data charges. I won't say yet. The preliminary conversation gave me hope that there's a glitch somewhere as the provider-someone implied I'm being mischarged. This is supposed to be finalized in a 0900 phone call. We'll see.

...<texting message> <presses 'SEND'> ...I'm sorry...what were you saying? I prefer texting over talking. Anyway, I think I've been scrood by a smooth-talking salesman. I was under the impression that I could surf the net with this phone just like with a pc at home: unlimited with the service charge--that's what I asked about and was answered with a "yes". ...And I have the $200 warning already.

iPhone. I got Internet service with it; that's why I got it. I got it at about noon on the 11th and this morning on the 12 at 0430, I notice a message from the provider saying, "You have already exceeded $200 in data charges this month." I asked if I got unlimited Internet access with the charge and the answer was an enthusiastic, "yes." I think I've been scrood. I'll find out this morning what I'm having.

Dupe. Oh, and in before those afflicted with DBS.

I look like what kind of bird?

I haven't seen how the law is written, but it seems like it will be difficult to enforce or whimsically enforced. Wouldn't it be ironic if some lane-changing ass-whole would have a momentary lapse in agressiveness and get popped with a failure to yield to the ass-whole -ticket?

<pause> Yes ma'am; I'm sure.

It woke me up too. I distinctly remember thinking it was thunder, but them almost immediately realized the thunder was originating from far under the ground. It seemed to be coming from the West, along a line about 30-45 degrees below the horizon. Edit: And it didn't sound quite like thunder.

Atlanta Magician Turner Receives British Award

In the near future people will be saying proudly, "I know him and I remember when he used to perform in resturants." Break a leg, Joe. -
It has drive-in, but no drive-through. <rimshot> I went there today. It's OK (a complement). I was disappointed that I didn't get any rind, but I understand that some people don't like that part.

I do not like Varsity. It's the most over-rated establishment in the known universe. I'd eat at Mac'-Donalds before eating there.

Thanks. Usually, the smaller the place and/or the worse the place looks, the better the BBQ. I imagine real BBQ would be very expensive to make--it's extremely time consuming. I further imagine if a business put money in a joint and served the real thang, it would be so expensive that people would prefer the cost of roast pork soaked in BBQ sauce--what some people call BBQ. P.S. I ain't from around here, buy you couldn't tell from the way I talk. P.P.S. My mamma's deddy was a local (NW Alabama; years ago) BBQ guru. He had a special-made building for making it. It had a
