  2. While that is true for a number of parents, you also need to consider the area. While it is not a bad area, it is not necessarily the richest or most educated. The parents trust the school system to take care of their children and to make decisions accordingly. If they did not receive any information about closing schools, and their home looked like the night after a storm, they NEEDED to go to work in order to support their families... theory being to trust the leaders to make decisions and get food on the table/ electricity paid, etc. If I were not a teacher and had not received my phone cal
  3. Hwy 92 is ok to Dville AFTER the red light at Maroney Mill. You can use Dorris to get around it IF you can get around the part of BakersBridge Rd that is closed, which starts at Senator.
  4. My dad lives over that way. <My brother tried to get there early this AM b/c a creek is rising near his house. There is absolutely no way to that side of town. The DOT worker told him that there is a dividing line- if you are on this side of it you cannot get to Atl, Austell, Marietta, etc... THe office might be open, but I do not know that there is a way to get there.
