The one I use don't do the manipulation, he is an orthospinologist, that works with the nervous system, and the x-rays. When the x-ray of your head and neck are not straight or you have one shoulder lower than the other , you can very well have pinched nerves, from your bones or muscles or what ever , putting pressure on your nerves. After a good adjustment ( maybe more than 1 ) it relieves the pressure and you don't need pain meds, Or I don't. I know, I have been going to the same Chrio for 19 years, so I figure he is doing pretty dang good, I only go when I feel like I'm out of line. When I first started going to him I went to a nerve or ortho .Dr, and they wanted to schedule me for surgery on my neck and lower part of my back, NO WAY. knock on wood I have not had surgery yet.
