Cold weather is the trigger. I can't for the life of me figure out how Hawaiians get in the Christmas spirit. Although, I wouldn't mind taking a trip to Hawaii to find out. My kids are all too grown to cuddle with me anymore. But last night was great! My youngest curled up on the couch with me while we watched The Grinch. It was perfect. Best night so far this year. I asked her if she wanted to watch Charlie Brown with me tonight. She said, "Naah.". That's ok. I knew it wouldn't last. But you better believe I enjoyed the moment while I could.

Decrease your font size on your Nook. It worked for mine. I feel bad posting in this topic because I know the livelihood of the OP is selling books. OP, please know I support your business and I have been to your shop several times to buy gifts for other people. Personally though, I love my Nook. I would not have commented in your thread unless I thought I could help other users with the problem you shared.

I THINK this must be for eReaders that do not have WiFi. When you buy an eBook from B&N it is saved to your B&N account which may only be accessible if you have a valid credit card. When your Nook is in WiFi range the eBook will automatically download. If your Nook does not have WiFi and you have to hook it up to your computer then you may not be able to download books previously purchased. The solution is to download eBooks to your Nook immediately after purchase. If they sit in the account they can be held but if they are in the device, they are yours. With a B&N account you

Whew! Done! It took from 10:25 to 2:45. I'm so glad we do t have to do this again tomorrow. By the way, if you have a 16 yo that needs to take the physical driving test I highly recommend that you make an appointment. There were some people there that had been waiting since the doors opened this morning. If you go without an appointment make sure to take a picnic basket and a sleeping bag.

Yes. That's what we're waiting for. I was told we could wait or come back tomorrow and start all over. I decided to wait because I've already wasted most of today and there's no reason to mess up my plans for tomorrow too. Plus, there's no guarantee that tomorrow will be any better. I'm just glad I dressed comfortably and brought a book.

I don't have an answer o your question. I am at DDS in Cartersville now and the system is still down. We were told we could wait for system to begin functioning and get the license or we could come back and have to start all over. To clarify... My daughter took her test and passes. They are processing applicants. The system that actually prints the temporary license is what is malfunctioning.

Yes, attach a copy of your letter of recommendation as well as copies of certifications, awards, completions, and a back ground check. It will give the appearance of a potential employee who is prepared, thorough, and ready to begin employment immediately. The employer will appreciate not having to take further steps in order to check references.

Even if your florist didn't take them that doesn't mean another florist didn't. I'm sorry this happened to your family. I've heard of this happening so often that I've quit sending flowers. Instead, I send meals to the family or donations to specially requested charities. A thief has no conscience so don't worry yourself with trying to rationalize what kind of person would do this. I know you called and the mintenance company said they didn't remove them, but this is something for other people to remember. Many cemeteries do not allow live flowers because they attract critters. Baked sweet potatoes -- instead of brown sugar and butter you can use sugar free syrup or Splends brown sugar For squash (pumpkin, butternut, acorn) you can peel it, half it, remove the seeds, and cut in chunks. Toss it in some olive oil and herbs then bake in the oven. Almost all squash can be cooked the same way you'd cook a basic potato.

I got one of their advertisements in the mail Saturday, but that doesn't answer your question. I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if they have closed. They started out good but went down hill fast.

So what IS the proper tip for food delivery?
GoodNeighbor replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
$3-$5. I always tip more if the weather is bad and the food is still warm. -
WHO CARES HOW IT HAPPENED! That can be sorted out later. Right now, the ONLY question in this man's mind should be the quickest route to get to his son and help him start healing. If that isn't this man's main priority than this probably isn't such good news. Unless this man is indignant or disabled there is no excuse.

That's horrible. I can't imagine their pain.

Yeah, but you might have to teach an Alzheimer's patient how to do the same thing every day. Until of course, she no longer can. This isn't a normal situation. This is a mentally ill individual. -

The OP's mother died 7 years ago. The SIL joined the family 3 years ago. The SIL is not an heir and it is not her place to say anything. If the OP's brother wants to speak up he has every right to. It is none of the SIL's business. Yes, a sale could have been forced sooner, but it wasn't. Since they didn't band together to force the sale there must have been a reason. Maybe they knew the property wasn't worth enough money to cause a family war. Maybe the house was in such disrepair that the fix up expenses couldn't be raised. Who knows. The OP just wants relief from a woman who probably h -
I am so glad the show continued. In the first season she was bumping off someone in wash episode. This season uncovering details and hitting roadblocks. I'm enjoying how Nolan is getting his own storyline. He cracks me up. Victoria has the outward appearance of a strong and evil woman. I think we will discover she is just a scared and emotionally scarred woman lashing out to protect her children and herself.

How to handle a family member who is out of line

Alzheimer's changes everything I said before. When she sends emails just ignore them. She won't remember she sent you one anyway. When she calls and brings it up just change the subject. If you are face to face and she brings it up just grin, nod, and compliment her shoes. She is dealing with a horrible disease that causes her brain to betray her. Try to have patience with her and the harmful things she may say. Also, try to be sympathetic to what your brother is dealing with. His wife is confused, scared, and probably in some level of denial. Grin and nod. -

Tell your SIL that firstly, it's none of her business. Secondly, even if you wanted to, there is nothing you can do about it. Thirdly, unless she wants this to be a dividing point between the two of you she will respect your desire to make this the last you hear of the subject from her. End of conversation.
