But for some reason this is worrying me to death. anyone else? What precautions can we take beside handwashing and the normal flu precautions?

I woke up this morning to find my HUGE deck umbrella that is free standing and covers my whole deck flung in the yard, completely broken. This thing is super heavy and I even had it cranked down cause I knew the storms were coming, and also this was nailed to the deck, it is trash now, I probably will never find another one.

a HUGE thank you to Mr. C & Mrs. C for making my kids night last night!! We ran into them at dinner and my kids were so excited because they saw the "REAL" santa, they kept saying "mama he even had a santa shirt on"!! and "mama where is his sleigh, I bet he parks it at the firestation and they loan him a car to drive" he was WONDERFUL, and I appreciate him doing what he did. Even my cousin who is almost 11 and on the verge of not believing was amazed!!! So great to meet both of you!!!! And I cannot believe I went to middle school with your DIL!! That is funny, and a small world!!

Went to the DR, and he said that it is a sever 2nd degree burn and gave me pain meds for it. Said to watch it for infection and come back immed. if it seems to not be healing. It is about the size of my hand wide opened, a little bigger. Thanks for all the info/suggestions, I appreciate it!!
