Since the only viruses ever put out for it were only made as proof of concept and Linux updates so frequently that every one of those proofs of concept exploits have since been patched. Yeah, Ill stand by virus proof. Much the same as pharmacies dispense vials that are Child proof.

Without superuser privileges a virus cant really do much damage to Linux, add to that with Linux Malicious URL code cant do squat. Could a virus specifically be designed for Linux? Sure, in fact there is one such virus. One. and it was designed only to show it could be done, and even then it could only exploit "some" Linux systems, XFCE and LXFC desktops were immune entirely. So if you want to get technical, sure you "could" get a Linux virus, much the same way as 0.0000001% of germs and bacteria can get past Lysol or that a rain-coat is waterproof... blast water at it hard enough and it isn't

Or get Linux since its free and virus proof.

The guys making those electronics in china and ship them over here cause those employed in the shipping, handling, wholesale, and retail industries a job, ergo while manufacturing jobs may be traveling over there, service sector jobs are created here. Kid in the park, pull out what has the genuine likeness of a firearm with no orange cap to indicate it isn't a firearm. Guess what, that's the end of the story as far as I am concerned. Is it tragic? I have no issues with folks who open carry. Not everyone has a compact pistol that conceals easily, ergo open carry is the only way they can carry at all. While I do agree that conceal carry offers the element of surprise, it can also hinder draw-speed. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. People who open carry are generally not looking for trouble. Carrying openly does not cause idiots alarm. do I CC? Yes, that is my preference. Have I open carried? yes I have. If you are bothered by open carry or the sight of a firearm on a civilian, I beckons the question on what you are REALLY afraid

He was. He was taken to the Jail, not the RYDC. He was charged with 3 Felony counts of Terroristic Threats. With a decent lawyer he will probably get 1 year + time served + 10 years parole.
