What attracted me to Ky is the fast horses and fast women Eddie. Really I was born here but could not return because there was no industry (I thought) for my type of experience. Eddie, Mississipi is a state that gets money from FEMA for hurricanes etc. The fishing industry, and lets not forget they might be getting money for drilling off their shores etc. Each state has different reasons for getting Federal dollars. The numbers that Eddie is citing are out of context. Many states get money from the Federal Government to implement Federal programs that benefit the entire nation. Such as coal mining or what have ya. So the numbers may say that Ky gets more than Georgia but Ky may be using its resources for the good of the nation for energy thus getting more money from the government in subsidies for providing a Federal Service. The numbers have meaning but not the same meaning as Eddie has been driving at.

I have spent time in Detroit years ago, I used to visit Boroughs Farms outside of Detroit, great place. I loved the city, especially the girl who used to get arrested every year for swimming topless in the fountain downtown. Detroit got dangerous and still is dangerous.
