Interesting Theory on ISIS - Why are they so agressive?
Jamie Weaver replied to The Sound Guy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I grew up in a deeply religious household. The kind of home where we often heard from the pulpit that we would likely be shot, lose our heads, die martyrs, OR except the "mark of the beast." I know that should an event come into being that remotely resembled the "end-times" a segment of our population would have enough faith in their beliefs to die accordingly. It spans all walks of life/demographics and there isn't a job program or a new [insert materialistic item] that will stifle that belief. With that said, ISIS is acting on their faith and it spans all walks of life/demographics. -

Frankly, if that's what the left has to offer, she is ill-equipped to handle the current state of affairs. - Jamie -

Not to diminish native American slavery......Native Americans enslave each other long before whitey came along and they later sold or traded each other to the Europeans. Much like Africa's untold history...We don't hear all about the love, peace and harmony native American history. - jamie -

Georgia has its first confirmed case of measles since 2012

If you contract measles in the U.S. this day and age, unless your parents failed you, medicine failed you, or you're the victim of some misfortune...you deserve the Darwin award. - Jamie -
It is relatively safe to say that cultural dimensions as a whole impact the individuals' morals/values and how they perceive the world. Whether agnostic, atheist or devout Christian, a predominant religion influences how the culture interacts. Given its prominence, to suggest that Christendom hasn't influenced one's morals to some degree is naïve. That isn't to say that an individual couldn't buck the norm. - Jamie

The best air rifle I've ever owned and will ever buy again is Benjamin. They're owned by Crossman now, but still a sound tool. The Benjamin Trail .22 is what I own now and I've never shot one more accurate. - Jamie -
Ferguson: Justice Department Moving to Clear Officer
Jamie Weaver replied to Jamie Weaver's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Have you analyzed your on perceptions? Upon the first day of media coverage, faulty logic based on an emotional response and circular reasoning were employed. Wilson was convicted by a segment of the population, as well as the media, without even seeing the evidence based on 2 things: Race Occupation The conclusion was that Wilson is guilty; therefore, any evidence to the contrary is considered manipulated or a blatant lie to hide the "truth," your perception. Conclusions drawn from different entities suggest Wilson's story is true. One of those entities had a vested interest in proving i -

Someone is going to have to interpret this one for me. - Jamie -
If the post article is correct, Federal authorities have came to the same conclusions and are moving to clear officer Wilson. http://nypost.com/2015/01/21/justice-department-wont-pursue-civil-case-in-ferguson-shooting/ Why are we still waiting 4 + years on the Travon Martin case? - Jamie

Saudi Arabia building wall to keep ISIS out.

I don't see why Saudi Arabia would be afraid. The ISIS ideology is rooted in wahhabism, an export from Saudi Arabia. They should mesh well together. - Jamie -

I'm glad to hear a voice in the Islamic wilderness calling for change, even if it is from a Statist. Egypt's President Calls For A 'Revolution' In Islam. This is an AP article found on Huffington Post and it flies in the face of what our "enlightened" leadership and academia like to tell us. For instance: - Jamie -

I suck at french... I'm Charlie in that I believe that we all have an inherent right to voice our opinions without losing our heads, dodging bullets, or losing a job as in the case of a local fire chief. - Jamie

Putin demonstrated what conservatives had been saying about Obama's ineffective foreign policy. There was undoubtedly a level of glee in conservatives when Putin simply dismissed Obama. "Love" is a poorly chosen word given the ideological differences of Putin and U.S. conservatives. We aren't talking about the dem's crush on Castro or Chavez. - Jamie
