  1. His statement is play ground rhetoric compared to what the jihadist spew out about other religions and cultures. The radical Islamic extremists declared war on Christians hundreds of years ago.
  2. Even though he is just playing around on this video Haggard was the best that's ever been. I am including Jones, Cash and reluctantly even Hank. Better writer than Jones or Cash, better musician than all the above, better singer than Cash or Hank. JMO.
  3. Nothing more slovenly than a litterbug. Hope they catch them all.
  4. It has been hashed out on here dozens of times. Infrastructure/tax rate is a major factor but the lack of an interstate is the main problem Paulding has compared to the other counties mentioned. Paulding was controlled by robber barons(business and politics) who had vested interest in home construction and the services tied to that industry during the fat years of the late 80's and 90's. That is the way the county was developed and that is the way it stays.
  5. My great uncle was killed outside Berlin two days after the armistice. He made it through the battle of the bulge only to be killed by a landmine while walking to see the Rheine river with his platoon. He was my mothers favorite uncle and she still grieves today at 86 years old. God bless corporal Eddie M. Echols US Army as well as all who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country.
  6. To say that I am devastated would be a little dramatic but I am truly sad about the passing of Gregg. I saw him in concert numerous times and as recently as New Years eve 2015/2016. You cannot over estimate the influence he and the brothers had on blues/rock/southern rock. Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, Wet Willie, Blackfoot, Hank Williams Jr., Waylon, Kid Rock, Clapton, Led Zepplin, Govt Mule, Blackberry Smoke, Hendrix, The Eagles, Otis Redding and many more site the ABB as influences and among their favorite bands of all time. Gregg was the best white blues vocalist of all time period. I have bee
  7. I knew Calvin but not Jimmy. May God comfort the family in their time of sorrow. RIP.
  8. Connery was great but Moore was always my favorite Bond. I never really cared for any of the others. RIP Mr. Moore.
  9. Would never put Cash on the back burner an American Icon and one of my favorites. My list of storytellers would also include Dylan, Merle Haggard, Greg Allman, John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Billy Joe Shaver, Ronnie Van Zandt and Tom T. Hall just to name a few. If I have to get off the fence I will say John Prine only because he is a folk singer and that genre leans more towards story telling. Songs like Angel from Montgomery, Hello in There, Souvenirs, Paradise, Far From Me, Donald and Lydia, Sam Stone, Christmas in Prison, The Late John Garfield Blues, Pretty Good and hell about 25
  10. Saw them in 1978 at the Champagne Jam with ARS, Santana, Doobie Brothers, Eddie Money and Moses Jones. MF was very popular at that time and they were very good live.
  11. May the Peace that comes with God's love be felt by all that loved him. May God send his comforting Angels to his family.
  12. By law you are right it is a civil rights issue. However to many people it is a moral issue. I wish all the liberals would practice what they preach and allow the people who object to homosexuality to voice their views without attacking or minimizing theses folks rights to believe how they believe. Seems hypocritical and narrow minded to me. Live and let live works both ways in my book.
  13. Never heard of them. Don't care either way. Should I know them?
  14. May God send his healing angels to Thad's bedside and guide the doctors hand. Amen.
  15. There are laws and processes to gain legal status. She needs to follow them.
  16. I am glad they are producing any income at this lead balloon. At $1000 a day if they film everyday of the year for say 30 years they can recoup some of the tax payers dollars dumped into this publically funded privately used debacle. I guess the good ole boys finally divided the lake side property at the reservoir since it is actually well under way twenty years late.
  17. Dolly has it all. Looks, even though she admits it takes a lot of money to look this cheap. Talent, an under rated songwriter/musician and we all know she can sing. Wealth, she has built an empire on her name. Heart, by all accounts she is generous, out going, down to earth and compassionate. I love me some DP. Way to go Dolly show those Hollyweird liberal cry babies how to put their money where their mouth is and actually do more than run their whining pie holes. What a gal.
  18. Findlay Roofing Think very hard about metal there are pros and cons.
  19. Two thumbs up for the governor.
  20. I am obviously not a Gooner fan so like everyone else I googled those numbers. I guess BS in BS out as with most computers. Just never have been a fan of anyone with a silver spoon in their mouth and I am definitely not a band wagoner. He always struck me as lazy, a whiner and a candy ass. I stick by him being an average driver at best. If his name was Jones you would have never seen him in the top series. I also believe he got filthy rich off his adoring fans and now he is turning his back on them. JMO
  21. DE Gooner has 19 wins mostly in plate races. One more win than believe it or not Greg Biffle. He is ranked at 38th all time wins behind current drivers Johnson, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Matt Kennseth and Denny Hamlin. He has been around the sport his whole life and has been in the circuit longer than the drivers above. His father and grandfather are legends. He has zero championships all the others above has from one to seven except Hamlin. He has always been on well funded teams with top notch equipment and crews. He has one injury and looses his nerve. Sorry just not that impressive.
  22. He has ridden the coat tails of his family name since he first got a ride. NASCAR , real NASCAR is based on tradition and heritage. What I am trying to keep from saying is he is a candy ass. Real stock car racing consist of red neck, southern, tough as nails men not coat tailers who are hired because of their photogenic appearance or their family name. He has made millions off of being a average race car driver and now at an early age for this sport he is taking all the money his "loyal" fans made him and saying screw you I don't want to play in my daddy's sand box any more. He is probably no
  23. He is the poster child for mediocrity riding on his family name. He was never more than a average driver even though he was on the best funded team in NASCAR for years. He is a self centered wannabe. His family name and tradition obviously mean less to him than the almighty dollar. NASCAR sold their soul to PC years ago and they are struggling now. Adios don't let the door hit you on the way out.
  24. Know who he is, never watched him. There are laws against this type of behavior in the work place. If a company can fire a janitor for cause then they should fire some one at his level also. Apparently he has shown a pattern of this type of behavior, similar to Bill Clinton or Anthony Weiner. On the other hand if the allegations are just allegations there may be a law suit coming.
