  1. Yes, he is smaller than most cocker spaniels. I can post a pic when I get home in a little while.
  2. No, he was not chipped. I've called vets, groomers, the pound and gone from house to house. He is old and half blind, he is house broke and is a really good dog. He eats and sleeps and just hangs out. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow to find out more about him. If anyone is interested in giving him a REALLY good home please, please let me know. We have two dogs, a cat and three kids.......just don't need another responsibility. Don't want to take him to the pound because they will immediately put him down. We have named him Bingo ( wanted Magic Mike but got out voted!).
  3. A male, blond, mini cocker spaniel was found on Old Griffin Rd today (off of Mt. Tabor Church Rd.). No collar, no tags, no nothing. Seems to be a pretty old dog and looks like it recently got a haircut. Would love to find its owner, he is scared, poor fellow. I plan on taking him to vet to see if he's micro-chipped tomorrow.
  4. We live off Old Griffin Rd behind Dodge Dealer and a "tornado" came through our front yard. You can see where it hit the people across the street ( they have a tree on their house), came across the street to our yard ( twisted a tree off) and then to our neighbors where it uprooted a big tree and twisted off another one and broke off their power. I say "tornado" because my husband saw it....it was very very calm and all the sudden a wall of wind came across the street and that's when he got in the closet with us. He said he thought it was a big truck with those mud tires coming down the stre
  5. I DID NOT want to read the Twilight books....thought they would just be goofy. Not really into the vampire thingy at all......BUT my best friend read them and she kinda MADE me read them......and that was ALL SHE WROTE! I read all 4 books in less than a week. Needless to say my family went to the wayside somewhat......my husband was sooooo glad when I finished them. But now I'm thinking about reading them again. Great, great, great story and just a very well written set of books. That Meyer lady is extrememly talented in the story writing department. Never had a set of books grab me
  6. Hey Girl!! We have gone to Destin the last few years and LOVE IT!! Lee always has to go walk around the Bass Pro Shops and then there is a Maui Nix that is got some cool t-shirts right in that shopping area. But the absolutely BEST place to eat is a "local yocal" place called Dewey Destins. It is a TOTAL dive but OH MY GOSH!!! It is a little fish shack on the bay and they cook all their food fresh off the boats right there. You place your order and go sit at a picnic table on the dock. It gets real busy, real quick at dinner time. If you head out of Destin there is a huge bridge t
  7. GLT is the only plumbing place to use!! We have NEVER used anybody else. We have had emergencies or just plan old problems and they have always had somebody out here the same day and most of the time within an hour!! Great people!
  8. Lots and lots of prayers sent their way!! My husbands step-sister delivered her baby boy at 5 months in the month of August and he was not due until November. He only weighed a little over 1lb and he had a few problems in the beginning and had to stay in NICU for a couple of months or so and today he is great! He is an ABSOLUTE miracle of God!! He has some voice problems because he had to have surgery on an artery that led across his chest and to his heart and it interferred with the sound of his voice. But today, you can hear him just fine and he is right on schedule as far as lear
  9. I also knew Greg from school and West Ridge, I am shocked!! Could someone please PM me with happened to him?
  10. This was my Granny and she was THE best Granny in the world. This is the first time I have lost anyone so close and I am going to miss her so bad. The world is definately a sadder place right now because I think God reached down and picked the prettiest flower in the world for His garden.
