  1. Wow, LPPT, I'm speechless. This heartless bastard is a product of HIS culture, not our doing. I cannot believe someone could make such an effortless jump from this heinous crime to environmental propaganda crap.
  2. Um, I never said Chris wasn't a person. I was merely pointing out the fact that his posts are often difficult to understand. I told him no offense intended and he said none was taken.
  3. Ah, in that case I have no idea. But I would suggest staying away from posting nutrition information.
  4. Yes. He has declared he's gay, not a pedophile. Learn the friggin difference. I have many gay friends that I trust implicitly with my kids.
  5. Chris, I won't question your knowledge but while we're on the subject I think I could take your posts more seriously if they were more legible. I am not talking about a spelling error here or there; your posts are almost impossible to decipher at times. I am not trying to be mean, perhaps English is not your first language or maybe you're using some sort of voice recognition software. Just my honest opinion, no offense intended.
  6. The guy in your example was straight so how does that prove anything? Sickos are sickos, whether they are gay or straight.
  7. Actually, though I do not support the Boy Scouts for a few reasons, one being their bigotry against gays, I do understand and support the legal protections they have being a private organization. I don't believe the govt should tell them who they can and can't have as members. I feel the same about country clubs, private colleges, and even employers. If there is a market for a hyper-Christian, anti-gay club for boys, so be it, as long as they aren't harming anyone.
  8. You obviously don't know any gay people. Or to be more accurate, you don't realize how many gay people you actually know.
  9. Oh my god, I could cry for those kids. Did you see them watching from those horrible women, learning from them? And then participating. Someone needs to call DCFS.
  10. The two (tithing and tipping) cannot be compared. One is a percentage of income, the other is percentage of a fee. Apples and oranges.
  11. We use the crappy processed American "cheese" and my son seems to like it. Make it just like you would a grilled cheese. Cheese and seafood normally do NOT mix, but these are pretty good if you're really hungry.
  12. When you start working on some of the issues (obviously not today but when you have time), realize that a lot of people are viewing with mobile devices like tablets and phones, especially if they are camped out in their basements during the storms. So if there's anything you can do to get this to work on Android and iProducts, that would be helpful.
  13. I live nearby and I will keep an eye out for her. Poor thing. Keep us updated.
  14. No, but I am on a tablet so perhaps your streaming is not compatible with mobile devices yet. At least, I THINK that's what you meant by "get it up"?
  15. Yep, the link is not working for me. But between the sirens, the tv, and my weather radio (thank you, NOAA, for waking me up three times), I am quite aware of the slight breeze outside my window.
  16. I cry too. I really thought I was the only one who did that. I seriously HATE vomiting (and if you knew me, you'd know how very seldom I use the word hate). I do everything I can to avoid it, even though I know I will feel better afterwards. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
  17. Completely flawed analogy. We are talking about the law which affects everybody, not what some narrow minded private company wants to do on Sundays. And the word you want is "sense". It's a good one, look it up and learn from it.
  18. Read it again, I didn't call anyone pathetic. Insecure are the folks who are obviously so unsure about the religious path they've chosen, that they feel the need to force/intimidate others into following their beliefs in order to justify their own decision Bravo!! +1000
  19. It's not turning into a religious issue. By its very nature, it's ALWAYS been about religion. There is no possible other reason people want certain products illegal on Sunday. Pathetic, really, how insecure some people are.
  20. This thread reminds me of the big pharma commercials where they tell you to ask your doctor if (insert drug name) is right for you. When they go into the list of common side effects that include things like tuberculosis and death, I think "holy cow, I'd rather have arthritis or dry eyes or whatever." Never had migraines but they must be pretty bad if you're willing to put up with memory loss and numbness in your extremities for some relief. God bless ya.
  21. This type of argument against Sunday sales always cracks me up. It's amazing how many people act as if they will be REQUIRED to buy alcohol on Sundays if this gets passed. Chill, dude, nobody is forcing you to change your behavior, we're just asking that the rest of us be allowed to make our own choices every day of the week, including your precious Sunday.
  22. Then you must never watch tv or read anything because the govt is behind the PSAs strongly urging us to get the flu vaccines. Which are formulated, by the way, by the CDC which is also part of the govt. Don't get me wrong, I'm not completely anti vaccine. But they push way too many on us, and people stand in line like sheep without giving a second thought to what's getting injected into their bodies. It's frightening, really, what people do without even questioning it.
