I've had my peppers and maters in the greenhouse for a month. Don't have to use a light but do have a heater and a fan.

Don't go planting stuff that the cold will kill. It's supposed to be down in the 20s next week, at night of course.
-
Me too! RIP Mr. Gunter.

It appears the attachments are working. LOL Did you mean to post that so many times, DVBP? It's scary, and bloody, and ugly and gross and the quote is absolutely true.

I do believe there could be a good balance, based on time and the exercise. But you are right, their only concern was getting the Guard back, they didn't bother speaking with the citizens that were impacted. As a matter of fact, now that you mention it, they appeared annoyed a citizen would have the guts to complain about noise.

The runway is nearly a mile long with a lot of houses at both ends, going South or Northwest would eliminate 99% of residents living nearby. I know the National Guard is not interested in disturbing residents, not sure where or who they are getting directions from but surely there is enough open space out there there should be no need to practice near houses.

Giggle, you get a little excited, don't you? Can't wait until that video of the pool water being sucked up goes public. My experience with the National Guard is they want to keep the citizens happy. They don't want to disturb people.

Paulding County owns approximately 7,000 acres of green space to the North and West of the airport. Between Willow Springs Road and Brushy Mountain Road on this map.
-
To the Northwest of the airport.

Just wondering why they don't use the 7,000 acre green space we do own? I think I have a pretty good idea why they don't.

Well I guess Blake forgot to tell you he left the opposition speaker off the agenda. -

Secrecy among co-workers is still secrecy. No matter how you paint it. You can call it a horse but everyone knows it's really a cow. -

Seriously, there were steps taken to insure he didn't know. It was stated in a commissoner meeting the information was deliberately withheld from Todd because "he couldn't be trusted" . What the heck does that mean anyway? He DID NOT know because they didn't want him to know. And THAT'S a h*ll of a note. -

Thank you very much for working on this to ensure the people of Paulding aren't slighted. Too bad we're going to have to pay for a special election, this could have all be avoided.

This behavior has been going on for years. It's so blatant, the daughter had no problem telling an interviewer it was intentional. Keep in mind, this Judge (who really is a fine person) came from the "firm" that represents the BOC, the PCAA, the BOE and the IBA. That unchecked perspective is part of the problem that exists in this county and the Good Ole' Boy system.

Thank goodness there were some citizens with the forethought to file that suit. Last I checked the attorneys that have been hired are not some group that takes ligation lightly. I applaud them and am proud to know them. So yes complain about how this was done I will, as you said I have every right to do that. Anxiously awaiting your reply to rockster.

Except she was mostly a real estate and civil attorney. Just passed the Bar in 2005, she's probably a good attorney at what she does but her statements about her and her dad discussing this then her admitting it in an interview shows poor judgement. The citizens have been denied the chance to elect a judicial representative for the people because of that little slip.

This is exactly what the bond challenge is about, thank you Sound Guy. Why should taxpayers be on the hook for improvements to the airport for a private company? The airport was able to function fine as a General Aviation airport with NO improvements. What baffles me is why the county a/k/a Blake Swafford and Calvin Thompson would even consider signing those agreements without citizen input.
