I can't believe I just spent 10 minutes reading this entire thread. Bottom line, when leaders condemn policemen (in more than one situation), the people that are tasked with keeping chaos from happening, they become a target. I know if I need help, I will call a policeman.............they are good people doing their jobs. They see more in one week than most of us have to endure our entire lifetimes. What if these police officers hadn't acted "stupidly" if the homeowner wasn't the one breaking into his own house? This began in Cambridge in 2009 and has gotten progressively worse.

Trail cams, record them then file complaints. That's ridiculous!

Many computer repair companies have computers/laptops that sit there for months unclaimed. If repairs are done and the owner never comes to pay for the repairs, what are they supposed to do with the computers? It's like a car repair place, if you don't pay the bill you can't get your car. Not saying this is what happened but I suspect they didn't just take the laptop.

The Georgia legislature tried to fix this last year. It didn't pass, too many LEOs were against it. Because very few juristictions give their public service departments enough to get by on, they have learned to use this to make up for short falls.

Yes, I'm thinking the wrinkles are in the spin cycle of the washer. If you have one, use a delicate setting, it doesn't spin as hard. I don't think it's the dryer's fault this time. Using cold water doesn't help either, but that's a conundrum, warm water makes them fade faster. Sounds like the washer is pretty awesome at getting the water out before they go in the dryer. -
Cool, but why? LOL

Never have been able to take pain meds, they just knock me out or make me nauseous. Good thing since all I can take OTC for pain is Tylenol. No advil, no aspirin, no nothing but Tylenol with just one kidney. Who knew??

My heart is breaking for so many Paulding Folks. Dr. Davis was a graduate of PCHS and taught band there for many, many years. When Hiram High School was built, he moved over to the "new school". He touched so many lives of those that live and go to school in Paulding County, we've lost an icon. He was indeed and will forever be, the Pride of Paulding RIP Dr. Davis. http://www.bellamyfuneralhomes.com/book-of-memories/1996129/Davis-Ronnie/obituary.php

I still use AOL for my mail, it's like an old pair of shoes, very comfortable. I don't surf the web with AOL any longer but there's nothing wrong with doing so. And yes, it still says, "You've got mail".

does it bother you when items read "made in china"?
tundra replied to mei lan's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It's very scary to think it's less expensive to have a product made in China, then shipped to the US. Sorry, coming from a long line of Union members I have to say it's truly their fault. Not the workers, the Unions. They take your money and do what they want with it. Sadly, you are at their mercy, and so is the rest of the US. If we want to bring manufacturing back to the US, we have to stop letting bad workers keep their jobs just because they are Union members. Some Unions, along with our government, have taken away the very thing that made this nation great, PRIDE. It seems like- 34 replies

JSC, Poe Farm is right down the road from me. Have you bought meat from them before? Do you just go there or is there a phone number? I know those cows are grass fed.

Grass fed beef is actually tougher. Because the animals are in pasture instead of stalls, they do build up more muscle. Nothing like fresh processed beef, grass or grain fed.

Congress has never stopped this president from doing anything he wants, never. Saying a do nothing Congress kept him from improving anything is just plain ridiculous.

Glad you had a great time. It's awesome to see your son doing what he loves best and for you to see him doing it. I didn't miss you too much, I followed you on FB. -
Ahhh but main street looks good, too bad there's no where to park to shop. And the new Veteran's Park is pretty awesome. Just don't go past Main Street on Memorial Drive and don't go near the old plaza on Business 6.
